I dont think brooklyn will completely fail, their locker room is apparently far better since harden has left, he is like jimmy butler with "soft people" but with everyone instead
I'm so glad someone made this video... The fact that Simmons has been getting vilified everywhere while Harden has been doing worse shit for a sustained period of time has pissed me right off... and what's the bet eventually the actual story about Simmons will come out.. and a large part of it will involve the implosion of his family unit over the last twelve months... All these people who have ragged on him for playing the mental health card may just end up looking like complete pieces of shit on their way to eating crow ...
I'm confused right now. A week ago you wanted this deal to happen, now it's gonna blow up in both situations? Did you want it to happen for the drama, or did you want it to happen because you thought it was good for both teams? You certainly _sounded_ like you wanted it to happen because you _thought_ it'd be good for both teams, so I'm definitely confused by this.
Yep, I absolutely agree & think you’re absolutely right. You’re the first person I’ve actually heard touch on these things, and that realizes it’s most likely going to be a disaster for both sides. The track record for Harden is a million miles long, & a leopard doesn’t change its spots.
great content...i promise you the new Collective Bargaining Agreement will address some of James-ish type of behavior...owners aren't trying to enable distressed assets with incentives to paralyze a team's trajectory...
The Nets are going to be deadly once KD is back and the mandate is lifted. The Sixers will be great on the highlight reels, but ultimately the Harden/Embiid project will fail miserably.
I hear you. But Kyrie has been doing this for 5 - 6 years now. And nobody says a word about it. Imagine being his teammate having to show up and play while Kyrie plays 5 times per year
Exactly. They want to paint harden so negatively but he literally played more games without kyrie AND KD than either of them played alone 😂😂😂 especially last year. He won some games alone that I was shocked he could carry such a trash roster
I can tell u don’t Watch Basketball Kyrie has been hurt Most of the times he’s Out other than Kobe Death, Harden Had Mchale fired Bc he wanted to ( COACH) James and Daryl fired him and in comes Dantoni… He asked for help in ‘17 and got CP3 had a Meltdown on the bench and CP3 was willing to put it aside for the game but not James… James Asked for Russ And they got Russ and that Flopped bc he asked to get rid of Russ after they Traded Capela to Apease Russ and Harden Bc neither can play without the Ball… He Literally quit on Houston after Years of Stat Padding and ISO Ball
The nets might be the best team in the league now with seth curry adding spacing and a healthy kd but the kyrie situation is absurd he should have been cut already
The fact NY has a mandate is just non sense. If you don’t have any symptoms or a negative test the day of, should let him play enough of this nazi mandate bullshit it hasn’t stopped any curve , spread of covid just gotta learn to live with it.
I agree The Philadelphia 76ers have a lot of potential to see their season go south coming out of this trade. They gave up a lot of assets, and James Harden couldn't even hustle enough to file his "opt in paperwork" for next season in time to make it count. That's a bad sign and a bad omen for Harden's fourth go around. But I'm not such a negative Nancy when it comes to judging the Nets. For starters, Brooklyn put their 11-game losing streak to bed, with a MONSTER 24-point win over the Sacramento Kings. Neither Durant, nor Kyrie nor even Joe Harris played in this game. Instead, it was Bruce Brown and new additions Seth Curry and Andre Drummond who dominated the Kings. And no, it wasn't a one hit wonder, as they carried the momentum to a second consecutive victory over the Knicks. Imagine how good this team can once everyone is healthy. In fact, they only have one more home game before they rejoin Kyrie on the road. This team is good, but it's about to be special. And by special I mean, potentially, everyone's going to be laughing when they realize how much BETTER of a fit than the Nets' Big Three ever was. You heard it here, first. 💁🏻♂️🏀
I am afraid Philly will go sour too around Harden - he is not a winning player in the sense of having the right attitude or game to make his team better. He needs to shift his entire mindset and approach for it to have a chance…here starts the new process…
Great video! Players should not have the power to hold their teams hostage. That's not player empowerment, it's player entitlement. Fans need stop enabling their diva-like behavior.
Remember folks, if you ever feel bad about yourself, just remember that Jeremy Lin has done more to help his team win a championship than James Harden has. 🤣
Yeah, the 76ers locker room could be an issue. Having said that, before all these stories came out, there was also a report on how James Harden was really locked in to the Nets in his first year there. He was making connections and building rapport with all players and staff of the team, and we all remember how James Harden was playing at MVP level when he first showed up for the Nets. It would be up to 76ers to ensure they get the "Good James". On a side note for the Nets, now I am more sure that Bum Simmons is in trouble there, since it's not KD wanting Simmons to join but he was more just wanting to get rid of Harden. The first minute Simmons lose a critical game in the playoffs due to him missing free throws or just sitting around like a bum in offence, KD would chew him out. For Nets, their biggest win is getting Seph Curry. Unlike Joe Harris who forgot how to shoot in the playoffs, Seph has shown time and time again how he stepped up his game in critical game and the spotlights are on. It could very well end up the biggest value Nets got from the trade is Curry and not Simmons
and Drummond. First 2 games and you can see how valuable they're going to be, already keys to any success the Nets will find. I think Ben working out over time will be a secondary benefit unlike Harden working for Philly and I'm hoping that will actually take pressure off Simmons though, all the things Philly were asking him to do and he couldn't, Nets don't need him to do. Nets specifically benefit from him driving and dishing to Patty and Seph and he's not going to run into another big player in the paint like Embid.
@@Bobsyagod Yup Drummond is good, but he is only on a one year contract, and I am pretty sure he will have other teams wanting him and he would likely go to whoever gives him the biggest bag... so potentially you only have Drummond until end of this season, which sucks but very good for Drummond to show what he can do. As for Simmons, the problem is the post-season. We have seen time and time again how Simmons melted down and struggled offensively, and then also affected his defensive effectiveness. In the best case you hope Simmons can just play his role and do well, but he is just that type of dude who is scared of being clowned and afraid of the spotlight.... hence those meltdowns. If I am making a bet today I am going for a Simmons meltdown than a decent performance of him in the post-season.
@@callmedylan1955 I feel Seph is like Jason Terry back in the Mavs run. He might not be an all-star but when it matters the most, he will make those shots that win games in the playoffs.
Jesus christ, you clowns and your ben hate.. Ben had a bad series. Hes not the first Max player to do that, and I'm sure he won't be the last. Don't hear anyone canning Joel after his 8 turnovers in game 7. I dont understand why the media & fans have such hate for him. Its ridiculous. Hes clearly had mental health issues for a long time. Anyone that know anything about mental health could see his deterioration. Cant you find someone else to shitcan now?
Like I said ppl can say whatever they want about kyrie and his issue with the jab, what harden has done is worse. Harden has a track record of isolating locker rooms and disrespecting his teammates. He showed up way overweight at training camp, showed up late to games and practices, would go partying instead of traveling with the team. It's all about him. Good riddance.
The Houston issue is on him, but remember the front office didnt have to trade him. He had multiple years remaining on his deal and couldve sat him until a trade opportunity arose just like Philly did with Ben. Also, once Chris Paul and Morey left, Houston's window officially closed.
The fact the GSW Front Office said NO to Steph, Klay & Dray speaks volumes. At the same time with how much Steph did for the GSW you would think he get to have some kind of leverage. Then again Steph is 100x the Leader Harden will ever be. & wouldn't bail on his team. He could've easily demanded a trade after last year. But he stuck with the team.
The nets are going to win this trade. Ben Simmons with thrive with KD and shooters around him. I am excited for this team. Cam Thomas is starting to look like a steal. Keep playing him. Starting 5: Kyrie Irving, Seth Curry, Ben Simmons, KD, and LaMarcus Aldrige. Bench: Patty Mills, Cam Thomas, Bruce Brown, James Johnson, and Andre Drummond. Just Bench Claxton. The man can't stay healthy. I think in the offseason they should trade Nicolas Claxton for a pick.
What you said makes sense.. However chances of both teams becoming succesful from this trade is also there.. For the sixers, its short term, and more of a long term for the Nets..I could also see these teams winning championships given the right situation..
He reminds me of one of my little brothers who never actually play sports and pouts anytime hes losing at anything. I understand competitive but Harden got the Clout rap generation mentality where if it ain't easy... it ain't worth it.
Watched Harden played when he was at Houston, he played like a "me" superstar, not a team player. Don't want him in my team. It takes a champion team to win, not a team of champions!
Being a great player, great coach, or great GM aren’t the same thing. Phil Jackson greatest coach ever, horrible gm. Isiah thomas all time great player, horrible GM. Lebron james brilliant basketball IQ, traded for westbrook. Jerry Krause couldn’t play one lick of basketball, won 6 chips. They are all very different skill sets.
It's easy to say management should assert control but ultimately it depends on the star players. No human alive, past or present can go against Harden's wishes. As he had shown, he could stink up the joint so much that you have no choice but to trade him. Irving is in the same class, though obviously not as bad. Lebron will dicate his terms, but it takes a Pat Riley with such high credentials to overrule him. Others like Tyron Lue, Dan Gilbert, Ron Pelinka? Good luck. Popovich was successful because Tim Duncan let him coach. Similarly Steph Curry allowed the franchise to fire Mark Jackson, allowed Steve Kerr to coach, and allowed Bob Myers to be the GM. If the superstars did not allow it, neither Pop or Kerr would have lasted at all.
Philly fans think Ben was what has held them back from the championship. The thing that held you back was expecting Ben to be Lebron. Bens defence alone is a superpower you just need shooters around him because he can drop dimes from anywhere. I don’t mean Danny green either I mean legit shooters, which is what he has in bk. At least now All you philly fans can sit back and watch Ben actually reach his potential with bk. Ps- harden isn’t the answer, you’re still missing a few pieces and letting Seth go didn’t help.
Thank you for putting time stamps in your video because I hate them dumbass sponsorship taglines I came here to watch you talk video about basketball not to hear you talk about sponsors!
People say Jordan stayed out all night gambling and all day playing golf before games but Jordan still dominated and didn't put his team at a disadvantage with what he did away from the team while Harden was clearly out of gas and hurt his team with his horrible play. The 76ers should offer Harden up for whatever they can get and save what little chance for the future they can.
Kyrie chose to sit out instead of be forced to get a medical procedure. Looking at the numbers coming out I’d say he made a good choice. Also great reference with the players running clubs I don’t like that much either.
An experimental gene therapy medical procedure. I don’t blame Kyrie at all. Eventually these mandates are gonna drop and he’s gonna be free to play again. I actually applaud him for taking a stand. I’m vaccinated, but I don’t blame anyone else for not being vaccinated.

@@DAVAND23 wow, thanks for the info Sherlock. By that I meant that they were not the stars that could lead their team to the ring. Patty is a role player, although great, but a role player. Kyrie has one ring where he wasn't no1 on the team and has proven to be a really bad fit for every team he's been to ever since. Kd is the only star among them that has the potential to be no1 on the championship team, and he is yet to prove that. Ppl talked and still talk about the Nets' big 3 even though it has never even been the thing - these guys haven't played together! Harden and Embiid are chokers so far, until proven otherwise and Ben is one of the worst contracts recently. It is a shame to call that guy a superstar. Fans and team offices should start grading and talking about players based on their accomplishments, not their elusive potential that is not reached way too often.
I just can’t believe that whole harden wanted the offense to be iso heavy. He left Houston BECAUSE day in and day out he had to iso. AND last year he gave up scoring opportunities and became a greater facilitator. He was FORCED to play iso ball again cause nobody was healthy or good enough to ball handle
Duh… That was obvious in 2015 when he asked for Mchale to be fired… but in 2017 asked for help again then format CP3 and Russ traded after trading Capela to appease Russ Stats… Ppl really think Harden Is Like that
I'll give you that James Harden has lost his mojo. But, he has 5 championships in the division in Houston on a weak team. He was the leader of that team and he is the only player that was double-teamed behind the half-court line every time. Can we agree that Brooklyn is a three-ring circus? KD and Kyrie were injured all the time, too. Kyrie has been Kyrie and it's obvious that he doesn't want to win anything. Now, Harden opts out to help the roster. I dont think brooklyn will completely fail, their locker room is apparently far better since harden has left, he is like jimmy butler with "soft people" but with everyone instead
I don't get it. Why would the Nets' locker room blow up? It has only been amazing ever since Harden left.
Has it?
I'm so glad someone made this video... The fact that Simmons has been getting vilified everywhere while Harden has been doing worse shit for a sustained period of time has pissed me right off... and what's the bet eventually the actual story about Simmons will come out.. and a large part of it will involve the implosion of his family unit over the last twelve months... All these people who have ragged on him for playing the mental health card may just end up looking like complete pieces of shit on their way to eating crow ...
Seems like Kd is learning from LeGM and starts making the decisions.
I'm confused right now. A week ago you wanted this deal to happen, now it's gonna blow up in both situations? Did you want it to happen for the drama, or did you want it to happen because you thought it was good for both teams? You certainly _sounded_ like you wanted it to happen because you _thought_ it'd be good for both teams, so I'm definitely confused by this.
fr bro makes no sense
Yep, I absolutely agree & think you’re absolutely right. You’re the first person I’ve actually heard touch on these things, and that realizes it’s most likely going to be a disaster for both sides. The track record for Harden is a million miles long, & a leopard doesn’t change its spots.
great content...i promise you the new Collective Bargaining Agreement will address some of James-ish type of behavior...owners aren't trying to enable distressed assets with incentives to paralyze a team's trajectory...
Love your stuff. Hope about a piece on this new Trail Blazers team, and Anf Simons? We are pretty excited about our new pieces. Thanks!
The Nets are going to be deadly once KD is back and the mandate is lifted. The Sixers will be great on the highlight reels, but ultimately the Harden/Embiid project will fail miserably.
Eh, Nets got swept in 1st round.
Wow, you called the Nets and Sixers disaster.
@@Azariah-Israel
I watch a lot. And you just did exactly what I'm talking about.
Kyrie hasn't played since Cleveland.
Another amazing job, congratulations again by the way.
One of the few videos that actually aged very well
The nets might be the best team in the league now with seth curry adding spacing and a healthy kd but the kyrie situation is absurd he should have been cut already
Nah
it's nyc covid rules that make no sense. Away unvexed player can play in nyc but not home unvexed player.
The fact NY has a mandate is just non sense. If you don’t have any symptoms or a negative test the day of, should let him play enough of this nazi mandate bullshit it hasn’t stopped any curve , spread of covid just gotta learn to live with it.
Harden has the Scottie Pippen effect going..wants to be the lead but doesnt act anything like a leader
Another brilliant video matey
4:00 You say he refuses to play … that is not true, they aren’t letting him play is more accurate. Crazy how much kyrie haters are out there👎
Yeah it’s bullshit. Kyrie didn’t want experimental gene therapy and I don’t blame him one bit
Harden is gonna be jealous watching Embiid at the line all game long
Bruhh 😂
Spot on analysis, after three months of observation.
I am afraid Philly will go sour too around Harden - he is not a winning player in the sense of having the right attitude or game to make his team better. He needs to shift his entire mindset and approach for it to have a chance…here starts the new process…
He would say Philly was never his first option if it didn’t work.
Philly offered houston rockets ben simmons first they declined...Js
I don’t see how either team had a choice in this final trade. Too many egos(IDS) involved.
😂💯
This aged really well.
It could very well end up the biggest value Nets got from the trade is Curry and not Simmons
my thought’s exactly when i saw they got curry he has been steadily improving
and Drummond.
Great prediction man !
The Houston issue is on him, but remember the front office didnt have to trade him. He had multiple years remaining on his deal and couldve sat him until a trade opportunity arose just like Philly did with Ben. Also, once Chris Paul and Morey left, Houston's window officially closed.
U speaking Faxts
Love your videos man!
Casey your prediction became a reality. Harden's relationship with Morey is over.
This video just started playing automatically and I didn’t realize how old it was till he was predicting the sixers locker room falling apart
We talk about LeGM but look at KD man out here making historic trades every year.
Well said
Thank you He’s Quit on Houston Miltiple Times He Had Mchale Fired, CP3 Traded, Asked and traded Russ, Allowed Capela to be traded,
Harden didn't like that Kyrie got special treatment? lolz..
If he keeps this thumbnail forever he is certified gangsta
Embiid is the nicest teammate you can have….he is nothing like Butler…..he just speaks his mind to the media….
Watched Harden played when he was at Houston, he played like a "me" superstar, not a team player. Don't want him in my team. It takes a champion team to win, not a team of champions!
Yoo the thumbnail is on point
Hey I guess now we know what Ben Simmons and James Harden have in common: There Childish Behavior😂
This comment aged like wine
If the superstars did not allow it, neither Pop or Kerr would have lasted at all.
damn, that is one lengthy sponsor section of the video, jeez
The Nets are far more likely to succeed than the 76ers
If it doesn’t work out in philly I’m calling it now him and Joel are going to Miami
No his Career is Over And he’s known as Stat Padder
Fucks noo
Curry, good person , great player, good teammate.
You really spent 3 out of 10 minutes on the sponsor?? Never again
If he ever gets tired of partying, he'll see he wasted his prime in exchange of nothing. I bet he doesn't even remember most of those nights out.
Kyrie did not refuse to play bro. Say it like it is.
Blow it up and somehow reunite kyrie and bron. Miss those two’s highlights
No narratives just facts 👏🏾
Thank you for putting time stamps in your video because I hate them dumbass sponsorship taglines I came here to watch you talk video about basketball not to hear you talk about sponsors!
People say Jordan stayed out all night gambling and all day playing golf before games but Jordan still dominated and didn't put his team at a disadvantage with what he did away from the team while Harden was clearly out of gas and hurt his team with his horrible play. The 76ers should offer Harden up for whatever they can get and save what little chance for the future they can.
Too many egos on one team. Harden just one of three. Frickin nightmare for coaches and GMs lol.
At This Point I want the Suns to win. I want Cp3 to win a ring so bad and not these losers changing teams to win a ring.
Embiid deserves a ring tho. after all the BS he has been through
@@ShanLoHoops Yea Embiid deserves a ring. I wish Jimmy and Embiid were still together
@@myquest666420 awesome attitude to have man wish there was more like you. I agree it would have been a scary thing to do very brave of him standing his ground. I
Look at this as of May 18th 2023 and you were absolutely right, the Nets blew up and now the Sixers going to blow up too it seems. Harden isn’t showing interest in coming back
I agree for the nets not in the sense that they are in trouble now, but in the sense that if they keep deferring big decisions to KD and KYrie it could blow up.
Barkley was right. 💯
its like you had the time stone
The nets won this trade and the nets are a scary team
I hope it works out for at least one of the two teams but like you predict it could easily go south for both
Players like this is why I prefer hockey to basketball. Players are loyal to their teams in hockey. You try to pull this crap in the NHL and it’s gonna backfire on you.
This aged well…
Harden started all his selfish bs in Oklahoma City.. Ive never liked this dudes game or attitude. Let the downward spiral continue...
I understand his wanting to be a more featured player for a team, but then he gets his wish & promptly shows that he isnt down to work hard once he got his wish...sad
The off court drama aside, the 76ers will have to work extremely hard to make embiid and harden NOT WORK. Ben Simmons still has no offense that's not a good fit for any contending team
Bravo, great take! I believe both Nets and Philly will fail too, cause the traded players, among others, have no winning mentality
The Nets have 3 champions on their roster. They already have guys who know how to win.
@@DAVAND23 but not really on their own, they are unproven champs so far
@@lukamiladinovic4043 what are you talking about? Who the hell wins a championship on their own in a team sport? Even Dirk didn't win on his own even though he was the only superstar in his team
@@lukamiladinovic4043 correction: kd was the number 1 option on the warriors. There’s a reason why he won fmvp twice.
How did I not know that Bob Meyers told Steph ,Klay and Dray NO!!!!!!
this really aged like a fine wine - you were on point
James Harden's Arrogance & sense of entitlement is off the charts. It's dudes like this who don't deserve to go to the Finals. And he never will.
As a Rockets fan I think this is pretty much spot on.
Duh… That was obvious in 2015 when he asked for Mchale to be fired… but in 2017 asked for help again then format CP3 and Russ traded after trading Capela to appease Russ Stats… Ppl really think Harden Is Like that
Lol at the thumbnail😂😂
I'll give you that James Harden has lost his mojo. But, he has 5 championships in the division in Houston on a weak team. He was the leader of that team and he is the only player that was double-teamed behind the half-court line every time. Can we agree that Brooklyn is a three-ring circus? KD and Kyrie were injured all the time, too. Kyrie has been Kyrie and it's obvious that he doesn't want to win anything. Now, Harden opts out to help the roster. I predict that Harden will be in great shape, fix his jump shot, and Philly will be a lot better this year.
Jaylen Brown next video A.M Hoops 🙏🙏🙏
That thumbnail is just hilarious
