They licensed brainwall to the west and they turned it into a full gameshow with cash prizes. Didn't look as fun. Though the elements were still there.
I think that Japanese game shows is second to none for its originality & creativeness. But Japanese prank shows are a bit too much or get a bit mean & even dangerous to the pranked from the westerners' point of views ( They might sustain Acute Heart Attack if they have underlying cardiac ailments.) I don't like number 5: it happened only once because even the producer didn't like it very much. There was a similar penalty in the segment "muchaburi dodgeball" were Mineghisi Minami had clothespins on her face and they were tied to a golf ball. The MC showed his golf swing 😅😅 This other penalty was more successful and they did it again later.
