Ive met John Lithgow and talked to him for 15-20 minutes. He is very tall. Im 6'3 and a half and he easily an inch taller than me...and he was in flat shoes. He could pass for 6'6" easily in boots of something. A large and imposing man, but with a lovely gentle temperament. It was a pleasure to talk to him

I was just a hair shy of 6' in my 20's had a motorcycle accident and a few years later Cancer and a Vertebrae replace am now 67 yrs old and 5'9'-5'10" depending on on how when I measure, early in the morning or late in the Day after walking a bunch.
You need better nutrition. You need stuff for joints. Collagen peptides, glycine, and TMG. And make sure you get 7+ hours sleep each night. Also stay hydrated. And measure your height first thing in the morning.

As a tall woman I’ve always gravitated towards men my height or taller, but not too much taller. They aren't. There's a lot of pressure on male actors to look tall because many places associate height with attractiveness in men. Research from dating sites shows a massive drop off in female interest if a man is under 5'9". There's a lot of actors whose official height is bumped up a few inches. I've stood right next to one of the actors listed as 5'9" on this list who is regarded as a real sex symbol and A lister. He was the same height as me and I'm 5'7"

And Jesus, once he became noticed and had a following - he probably ate well too, with the gifts and places to sleep and eat that were offered to him by his followers. But by then, he was a grown man. I doubt too, that he was 6 foot 2inchs...but I also doubt he was a short person either. And again, I think that growing up, he probably ate well, and the food in that area, even back then would have had: Meat, from goats (milk/cheese too) and sheep. A good variety of fish. Fruits: dates, pomegranates, grapes/wine and figs, olives/olive oil and honey. They had wheat, barely, and legumes, so they had basics to make breads and stews/soups. If the Bible is right, Mary and Joseph had the money to get an inn...but there was no room. They were not in that stable because they were poor. Also, the wise men gave them some pretty expensive gifts...that could have been sold for a lot of money. And with a skilled laborer as the head of the house...again, I think Jesus didn't grow up in a home that was near poverty level. They probably weren't rich but I bet they could afford a diet with variety of food, which would help a child grow taller and stronger than those eating less, lesser quality and of less variety of food. Also, I think Gibson wanted an actor who was a believer, which is hard to find in Hollywood. Jim Caviezel fit the bill, even if technically he might have been taller than most Hebrews of that era.

@PhantomFilmAustralia I don't think Mary Joseph were all that poor, given Joseph was a carpenter and that was a needed skill back then.
And Jesus, once he became noticed and had a following - he probably ate well too, with the gifts and places to sleep and eat that were offered to him by his followers. But by then, he was a grown man.
I doubt too, that he was 6 foot 2inchs...but I also doubt he was a short person either.
And again, I think that growing up, he probably ate well, and the food in that area, even back then would have had:
Meat, from goats (milk/cheese too) and sheep.
A good variety of fish.
Fruits: dates, pomegranates, grapes/wine and figs, olives/olive oil and honey.
They had wheat, barely, and legumes, so they had basics to make breads and stews/soups.
If the Bible is right, Mary and Joseph had the money to get an inn...but there was no room. They were not in that stable because they were poor.
Also, the wise men gave them some pretty expensive gifts...that could have been sold for a lot of money. And with a skilled laborer as the head of the house...again, I think Jesus didn't grow up in a home that was near poverty level.
They probably weren't rich but I bet they could afford a diet with variety of food, which would help a child grow taller and stronger than those eating less, lesser quality and of less variety of food.
Also, I think Gibson wanted an actor who was a believer, which is hard to find in Hollywood. Jim Caviezel fit the bill, even if technically he might have been taller than most Hebrews of that era.
I love Jim - I've been a fan of his for years, he's very handsome and striking looking. I'm 5ft 10", so we'd make a great couple - in my humble opinion of course!!! 😊❤
@StormyPeakps he could also make 100's of loaves out of one loaf, and lots of fish too, not to mention turning water into wine (wish I had that skill!! 😂), so he ate like a king on one penny. Of course, he WAS a king.

People shrink over time from aging and earths gravity effects on the body. 6'2, maybe his height when was in his 20s. He's probably more like 6'0 now unless he has had some injuries over time. Unless you're truly taller than you think you are.
