hello... glad to hear how to move australia in india and how to find visa sponcers please explain the procedure madam help me....im waiting for your reply
Thank you for this video. I am 29, turning 30 in January and really interested in a working holiday visa in Australia and this cleared a lot of things up for me :)
+Backpacking Bananas yes absolutely. as a person who's about to live in Perth, these information are priceless. Specially that I don't know anyone there 😊❤
Thanks so much for you videos on your WH experiences. I’m moving to Perth this month to do the same and your videos really helped me out a lot! I was wondering which recruitment agencies you’d recommend as I do see a lot of scams online. Thanks so much!
+Backpacking Bananas This channel is rapidly becoming my favourite travel channel on RUclips. So no need to thank me, you deserve the recognition for your hard work.
As for Insurance, getting OVHC from an Australian Immigration Dept recognised Insurance company, will mean when you visit the hospital or doctor for any reason for an illness covered by your level of coverage, you will usually get your money back within a couple of days. If you use a foreign insurer, Aus hospitals will ask you to follow up with your insurer by yourself. I saw American health insurance being rejected in Aus hospital. They really dont care about your countries insurances, they only help if its AUS to AUS and they have spare time for you. (I had an experience when I bought insurance from my country and they didnt accept my insurance claim because the receipt was in Korea during my Korean working holiday visa, so my best advice, buy insurance suitable/from the country you will visit, it will be much easier to get your money back!!!
Re: Medicare (NOT ALL COUNTRIES CAN APPLY) You must be either: an Australian citizen a New Zealand citizen an Australian permanent resident applying for permanent residency - conditions apply covered by a Ministerial Order, or a Resident Return visa holder You may also get a Medicare card if you’re visiting from a Reciprocal Health Care Agreement country. We have agreements with: Belgium Finland Italy - you don’t need to have been living in Italy, but you must be an Italian citizen and meet the other agreement conditions Malta Netherlands New Zealand Norway Ireland Slovenia Sweden United Kingdom
Thank you so much for the tips! Its very helpful :) I have 1 question: Is the 2nd year working holiday visa only valid continuously after your first year? Or can you go back to your homecountry for a year, and go back to Australia again?
Hey awesome video, I'm thinking of going around next year January has anything changed since you uploaded the video, also I have a few questions what city did you start and end in How much money do you recommend taking ?( I know it's $5000 but would you recommend more) And how did you feel the first few weeks of arriving ?
Great video, n lookin' good btw :)One thing I'd like to ask, how did you go about gaining your aussie work visa? did you go thru an agency (as I saw on bunac charging around £500). Not sure whether to or not and/or what the pros & cons are. Please help :)
They do not check how much money you’ve got in your bank account ! And I never ever had travel insurance in my life. Got too crazy one time I ended up spending the night at the hospital but Italy and Aus have some sort of agreement so I didn’t pay for anything! Loved every minute of my time in Straya - 2013-2017 ❤️
Australian Working Holiday Visa -- wow -- a gem of a video -- I am 77 years old; healthy. I still work three days a week at a local hospital -- can a healthy USA citizen satisfying all requirements except "AGE," qualify for clerical or retail work? I am very interested in knowing about this; please respond with other options if possible!! Thank you
those eyes omg :) what about the new changes about taxes for backpackers? is that bad? do you still recommend to go there if the purpose is save some money for travel out there? good info btw very helpful
I wouldnt do a programm! It is much cheaper and better to do it on your own! You will meet people and have a great time. Its also much better to be flexible and not depend on any programm.
Heeyy thank you for your videos. I am going to make 88 days in Australia next year. Your video is very helpful for me and other. How did you get farm job there ? Is there agent or we can apply by our selves?? Anyway where do you come from? Nice to meet you, I am from Indonesia.
maybe try that. But I also heard that STA overcharge people. For example we paid 350 euros for our one way flight from Germany to Australia. We bought three individual tickets stayed in Thailand and singapore on the way BUT way cheaper than what they tried to see us. But asked them if they pay if not,...pay it yourself and buy cheap tickets to OZ. Singapore - Darwin is a very cheap connection.
what a great video, so helpful!! But I have a big question, one of the requirements is that you need at least two years of higher education (university) to apply; If Im finishing my 2nd year at the uni, Can I apply? Regards
If you dont arrive within 12mths (i.e. never activate it) of applying for your first 417 Working Holiday Visa, you may apply again if you still fit the requirements (i.e. age).
Thank you for the help!! I do have a question although. When applying for the visa, must I have insurance? (This is also for getting to Australia) I would like to get insurance when I arrive there but I am sure if I am allowed to do such a thing. Thank you again for the help!
+EinkOLED - I applied in September 2015, just 3 days before my 31st birthday. I was approved in 35 minutes (Seriously) and have until September 2016 to get to Australia. I applied by myself directly on the Australian immigration website. It took just a few minutes to fill out the application and I paid $440 Canadian dollars. I was originally planning on using a company to do this for me, scared that I would screw up the application. I saved $500 doing it myself and it was the easiest thing ever. I'll be there in July. Hope this encourages anyone worried about last minutes decisions.
you mentioned the medicare card, how does that match up to buying other international private insurance?? Did you weigh those out? I didn't know non-citizens could benefit from their medicare system
I'm really curious why you weren't able to get your 2nd year visa after talking about how simple it is to get a 2nd year visa? It worries me that it might seem simple on the surface but is actually difficult to get the 2nd year visa!
They are now changing the rules so you don’t have to do farm work which is even easier! I, unfortunately, got incredibly unlucky with an unfortunate combination of rule changes and timing
Hey I summarized in my video about Australia what documents you need to prepare. I didnt need a passport photo by the way. dont forget a proof that you have enough money on your bank account,
Hi! I have a question about the 5,000 on the Aus website it says it recommends, it doesn't say YOU NEED IT. Just wondering cause I 100% will not have that much and I leave in Nov, everyone that I've spoken to says they didn't go with that much and no one asked them anything and have zero problems (I am getting a round trip if that helps with my working visa) Just want to know your experience :) CHEERS!
I want to go to Australia on a work and holiday visa and I was wondering would it be smart to partner up with this company call global work and holiday visa or should I just do everything by myself?? The company tells me that if I pay 1845 that offer job placement, tax number ,cell phone a place to stay for a week and I can live and work anywhere in Australia. Last question how much money do you recommend to bring I’m from the USA and 5000 us is 6300aud but I just want to know how much did you personally bring if you don’t mind me asking, thank you and keep up the amazing work.
Might sound like a stupid question. I'm going to Aus on a working holiday visa soon, is it best to take a suitcase a backpack or a duffel bag? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
hey, made a video about suitcase vesus backpack. I would definitely go for the backpack. We have seen people pulling suitcases through the sand when arriving on islands.
My major concern is that considering I'm going to be there for 2 years a backpack will not fit all of my stuff inside, the biggest backpacks I've seen are 90litre but I've calculated I need 150litre storage for what I want to bring, I've seen this nice North Face suitcase with wheeels.
The thing is Im kind of in a relationship with an Aussie girl who i met on the internet, we speak on Skype for like an hour a day which has being going on for a year, so there is a chance I may never come back which is why I want to bring as much stuff with me as possible, you understand?
I was lucky, I applied my 2nd working holiday Visa with HelpX , As I was helping in a farm that is quantify to sign for 2nd Visa . Even I got investigated but I still Got it , But I applied it in 2015 , so it must be change after that .
wing yip It had changed. Volunteering doesn't count towards the 3 months for your 2nd WHV. WWOOF and helpX count as volunteering. They want to see payslips now when you apply for your 2nd WHV.
im going to Oz on saturday. Got savings ready to go into my Australian bank account. Can I transfer the money from my uk bank to Australia when I'm in oz?
4:12 Speaking of Medicare, go to doctors for free is applicable to those from British Commonwealth coutries(UK,Canada..) I afraid. Very elaborative ,thanks!!!

Re: Medicare (NOT ALL COUNTRIES CAN APPLY)
You must be either:
an Australian citizen
a New Zealand citizen
an Australian permanent resident
applying for permanent residency - conditions apply
covered by a Ministerial Order, or
a Resident Return visa holder
You may also get a Medicare card if you’re visiting from a Reciprocal Health Care Agreement country.
We have agreements with:
Belgium
Finland
Italy - you don’t need to have been living in Italy, but you must be an Italian citizen and meet the other agreement conditions
Malta
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Ireland
Slovenia
Sweden
United Kingdom

you can apply for another visa if you dont use your first on time and the age limit is different for each coutry
thanks great video

The age limit is actually 18 - 30. Once you reach 31 you can't apply.
+EinkOLED - I applied in September 2015, just 3 days before my 31st birthday.

im an austrailan citizen but this video is still interesting
Hi beauty ! I was wk seeing where I can apply the working holiday visa back in Australia and how to process that ? Many thanks !
Generally your video is very informative, thank you. Immigration Department prefers Round-trip tickets though, shows the intention not to overstay.
What about the health check before you travel to aus ? No risk countries need it ?
Ty so much!
Hey, I was just wondering does your visa need to be put in your passport? Do you need to send your passport away before going? X

Is that a definite that after your visa's 12 month window expires and you didn't enter the country you're not allowed to apply for one again? Because I'm in that situation where my 1 year window expired and will soon apply for another one.
That was the case last time I checked, but the rules are always changing so I would check the immigration website :)

Hello! I wanted to ask you. I got my working holiday visa in 2012 but I didn´t renewed again. Can I renew it now?
