For those of us who love basically all of IU's music (and dramas, and IU TV, etc)...it is nice to see many discovering new sides of her (I know you have a good start already, Pierre, and really love your reactions). For those who like this kind of song from her, others you should check out include Blackout, Flu, Palette, Bbibbi, as a good starting point. She explores whatever genres she likes. No boundaries apply to her...which is essentially the point of this song also. She is free to fly like a seed / spore, rather than be tethered by anything...
This is why people are expecting IU’s new songs. Because she is never stop chasing new performing art, and you don’t know what you gonna to hear from her. This new album literally is a adventure, experimental creation for IU, Love Wins All, this song and the rest of coming mini album are so different yet great songs. She is too talented to be flamed . Btw, l like your reaction bcs you are able to understand and enjoy IU’s music.
with so many of her songs (including Love Wins All)...there are multiple correct interpretations - intentionally. For this song, the more hidden story is almost certainly about her personal journey...where she remained pretty steadfast about growing her roots in South Korea / Asia - and found a lot of comfort in that, and she built a family around herself amongst her team and fans. Now she is ready, though, to let loose of that security, in a sense, and just head off on a new journey even if there isn't a clear destination or roadmap, and she's asking the fans to accept that...and embrace that with her
Thank you for reacting to IU's new MV. I've been a fan of her since her debut in 2008. I was working in South Korea at that time when I heard a song on the radio and it was "Mia". I was having a difficult time at work when they played it and there was something about her voice that was so comforting. It wasn't that popular before but I really liked it so I asked one of my Korean colleagues about the singer and they told me that it was a new singer. She was so young and since then I followed her every update I even followed her on Twitter with her old personal account. I'm so proud of how far she's gone. Her progress has amazed me much. I will always be her number one fan until the end.

If J-Hope's "Chicken Noodle Soup" and IU's "Bbibbi" had a baby, it might just look like the weird and wonderful "Holssi". I didn't think I could love IU any more than I already did... but I was wrong. She continues to delight, amaze and make us wonder.
