  • I've recently been experimenting with driving traffic from Reddit to my own website.
I've now had a number of articles "hit" from my experiments...and in fact just had Reddit send my site over 11,000 visitors in a single day!
Now I'm going to share the 5 strategies that you can use to experiment getting Reddit traffic.
Warning: Proceed with caution. Some of these strategies might be considered a bit "shady". Watch the video and let me know if you agree.

Here's number 6 (the most shadiest). Post a question about your niche with one account, then answer it with another reddit account linking to your site. Then use a bunch of other accounts to upvote your answer post and leave positive comments so it gets artificially pushed to the top. Or pay a social media service to upvote and leave positive comments. That's how you can hack reddit 's traffic. Would not recommend, but Google will never penalize you for this.

Make sure you use proxies and clear your cookies/cache each time you switch accounts otherwise the mods will see its all coming from the same IP

I’ve been using Redcom ai that does all this. Mainly use it to drive traffic to my side projects by mentioning them on relevant threads that are ranking on Google.
I buy upvotes to rank my comments and this strategy has been working great for me

Not shady at all..."if you cant beat them, join them" Not our fault Google wants to rate crap, SEO is a game of cat and mouse and adapting to the changes. Interesting you found this on BHW, I stopped going there awhile ago since most of the info is useless, vague or a sales pitch for somebody's PBN links but this is interesting information. The subreddit idea in particular is something I'm going to try. Another poster mentioned having multiple accounts so you can answer/upvote your own posts and while that could also work, using proxies (I'd recommend keeping a spreadsheet to track the IP/date of the post) and clearing cache/cookies each time the account is switched could also work, but a little more volatile. Anyway, great vid.

It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing that blogs are being penalized by Google, while shallow Reddit content is being pushed. My guess is Google will buy them out down the road. It’s all part of the Google AI strategy. They need human content

I would re-emphasize that karma is very important for reddit.
I had a six month old account, active across different communities (300+ Karma). I used it to gain couple of 100s vistor/day for a my newly launched website (ranking on the top SERP for one of my keywords).
Even though, people on reddit were loving the content and I was following every reddit guideline, guess what my account just got suspended today and now old links have expired and zero traffic on my blog :(

The problem with Reddit traffic is the conversion rates are really bad. It's easy to get thousands of visitors from Reddit, but a very small percent of them will convert into anything

@@niche-pursuits I had already clicked off the video about 3 minutes in because you said the point of getting traffic from Reddit so many times without saying how, I had to fast forward to get the information. If this is typical of the content you make, then I'll be sure to avoid it in the future.

@@Faraz_khan0 I hate when videos don't get to the point at the start. I actively avoid them. I shouldn't need to skip to get the point. Though, I usually skip embedded ads as those annoy me too. The point of my original comment is simply "please get to the point faster".
