----- About Entropy : Zero 2 -----
Entropy : Zero 2 is a modification for Half-Life 2.
The pessimistic, wisecracking, door-kicking zealot known as 'Bad Cop' is back.
Command a small army of Combine synths and soldiers on a Northern campaign to capture Dr. Judith Mossman.
Tread in the wake of Gordon Freeman at Nova Prospekt. Explore the mysterious 'Arbeit Communications' facility. Discover what lies beneath. Drive an APC through the arctic wastes. Confront the rebels on their doorstep and uncover a long-forgotten secret.

I did it all for Wilson. The combine don’t own me.
The addon "carryable wilson" has came
@@JackJockyJacthat's good
I did it for the combine. So there. Rebel scum
People took everything from me, because of the way I am!
Then came the Combine.
They listened.
They told me the problems of the mind are not the problems of the soul.
🥺
"I had one thing to give up for this job
My humanity
Some would say
I never had it anyway"
"They told me the problems of the mind are not the problems of the soul." I use this quote a lot. Oddly, it helps.
"I'm guilty of a lot of things, but I didn't kill my daughter."
"Maybe... maybe knowing that is enough."
It was a mystical experience. So long, Wilson.
Except that I think this is what plays when you get the Wilson ending
@@sebaprime6411it plays on all the endings, even the combine ending
I mean we've been teased new expansions! So it would seem We will be saying "hello" to an old friend ;)
This gives off the vibe of end credits.
Yeah it does... 👀
Edit: It was the end credits. I knew before others did though
Yeah it really does. And I thought Legacy would be the credits theme because it also fits imo
(it is)
Breadman once now we are breadmen.
“Ok. What’s the plan?”
The emotions I felt in that moment...
You know. This song sounds like a remix of the main theme.
It also holds some meaning in the instruments. You don’t hear any electronic beats (or not many of them), just drums, guitar, and a piano. This signifies that the game starts with 3650 being just another clone, another soldier; a puppet under the combine’s control. But by the end, he’s free from their control (albeit against his wishes). His previous clone failed to truly convert him to his side, thinking he’d come to that on his own. Yet, he never gave him that chance; the combine never gave him a true chance at finding his daughter, and the rebels won’t give him a chance because he’s a combine elite.
Despite all this, he’s no longer a puppet for the combine, and is now left to carry on the work of his previous clone. The song is no longer electronic, but organic. Because by the end, 3650 finally embraced his humanity (coming to terms that he’ll never find his daughter, but knows that he’s not her killer)… despite everything the combine have done to him; everything people did to him, and what they said about him; he still has his humanity, he’s just never been given the chance to show it.
"He still has his humanity, he’s just never been given the chance to show it." Beautiful!
i think it's a legacy pt1 remix... you can hear that in the end. it further represents his humanity, his freedom. he's continuing clone cops work.
@@thebreadman woag, official recognition from breadman himself
Gosh I loved this ending so much. Seeing Wilson again, starting at a point where you can set things right... even if you may still be ruthless, there is that mote of humanity in you. You're no longer desperate for answers, they were denied a long time ago; you're now a working partner of Wilson and going to follow something you thought you already had: freedom.
Thank you for your work on this OST.
“The problems of the mind are not the problems of the soul”
I will literally start a million dollar company over the course of 2 decades if it means funding a EZ3, WE NEED IT!
EZ3 confirmed?
@@kapi780 Yep

THIS IS THE ONE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.
"it's just a silly half life 2 fan game, you don't need to go crazy with the soundtrack"
Spencer Baggett:
I played this game last winter, and dang I feel nostalgic about the times, the snowy vibe when it was actually snowing outside, this game is just a masterpiece, I will probably replay it for the third time this winter.
Entropy : Zero 2 is the pinnacle of Half-Life in every respect.
That's all I can say.
Such a great mod. I can see why it took so long to release! Patience is key.
bebab
this sounds like the credits
it explains that this was the last entropy zero game and will never be continued
I do think it will be continued. If you beat the game with Wilson... well... you'll see.
@@questarcher7921 I hope so. I loved this game so much and would happily play more, even if it cost money. I just wonder how they'd go about building it. In this they draw narrative from ep 1 and 2 but now they are on there own. Making a third story is going to be difficult but boy do I hope they manage it.
@@ultgamercw6759 Me too, now we are going to kill rebels and combine in the next game
@@questarcher7921that’s the canon ending
There isn’t a bad or out of place song in the OST. Truly nothing short of a masterpiece.
Sounds like an ending where you get to choose a path. I hope so.
And you are correct!
Yes one is combine rekt you or you rekt combine or G-Man rekt you for kicking him mid cutscene lol
@@arifcso6633 Wait. G Man actually gets mad if you kick him? That’s amazing!

my favorite soundtrack
The electric guitar (i think) at 0:33 is really similar to the start of "Entropy Zero"
Best hf2 mod ever
I can see this being played over the Combine Forces walking across that bridge in Episode 2
"this is the end, for us, for you, for me" man that was depressing to hear and in 1:35 you hear the part of the boss fight with your clone that signifies that you understood your clone that the combine would never help you
By the end of the game, 3650 is arguably the only half-life character who is truly free. Gordon the apparent "one free man" is still a pawn for the Gman, who is only running errands for his elusive employers. Adrian remains bound in stasis, nothing more than a tool waiting to be used. Alyx, Eli, Barney, the resistance and the rest of humanity live in the shadow of the combine. In a divergent timeline Alyx swaps place with Gordon, selling her free will for her father's life.
3650 has done some irredeemable things and he knows it. He forfeited his humanity for his daughter's sake, or perhaps just to quell the problems of his mind. But he knew he'd turned his back on humanity, he can't side with the resistance. Upon killing the advisor, he cut ties with the combine too. 3650 is unaffiliated, uncontrolled. If we consider EZ2 as canon (which I do, because fuck it) 3650 is the only free agent in the half-life series.
I'd be interested to hear other people's thoughts on this
Into the badass credits music playlist.
i went back to listen to this again when axon pariah and progenitors were announced and this is still a banger
People do change
ah that one line, nice
10/10 game, I get to kick G-man in the balls.
This song alone has made me wanna play entropy zero 1 and 2
Wilson is still alive when you deliver
I NEED THIS TO BE THE OUTRO TO MY LIFE
SO LONG, BOSS!
So wilson is alive and saved me, now i just need to fight back to get back to earth hopefully in the next game!
I think i get the picture the metro cop represents Aidens past where he was ultimately loyal to the combine while the right combine elite is his rogue clone a possible future that Aiden couldve chosen but didnt and the middle is our Aiden himself standing between them because he hasnt chosen yet or he is going to take a bit of both sides
this was the moment 3650 became bad cop
Everything i did was for me, until i meet wilson
God I hope they don't end up like Valve and not make a third game 🙏
I appreciate this music, great playlist of BGMs. One thing, is this copyrighted content? thanks
Hunt Down Mossman is better than Hunt Down Freeman
It's NOT Hunt Down the Mossman!!!
also 2 days till release!
This is music from trailer right? It sounds same
credits music
i hope this plays when you die.
EZ2 could easily be passed off as a cannon game... easily. well, minus some rough edges here and there, but it's MOSTLY polished enough to be cannon, plus don't mess with the pre-existing cannon
What if there is a Movie like This. Combine elite will be scott adkins and the clone will be dwayne johnson. Booom
I legit cried when this played at the good ending credits. All the things bad cop has gone trough, like losing his wife, daughter, be manipulated by the combine, hesitating to kill his clone who already knew the truth, almost lose his best friend... He's free from it. He's free from it all. The Breadmen did an AMAZING job and Entropy: Zero 2 is officially my second favorite fan made half life besides Black Mesa.
you could not be more right
You feel really sad when in the post credits, after fight and lost so many he's just tired of living the same, tired of being alive just to be cloned again. He prefers to die over being cloned, but thanks to Wilson (and G-man surely) he's free
just completed the thing on hard, this was one hell of an experience. im glad i brought wilson with me to the end, seeing the alternate ending. i really hope for a third installation to entropy zero, cause this was so damn well made (so good in fact, that to me, i consider this canon lmao)
I've done it on normal and took 2 and 1/2 days, despite some game breaking probably by not taking wilson but ended taking him all campaign, kudos for you doing it on hard, aint easy with that plastic armor
@@KyubiHitashi the one segment with the sniper, after reaching the bridge area inside the rebel building was one of a few MAJOR pains getting through, mostly because of the amount of enemies, and the game not being able to decide whether im crouching behind cover or not, and getting insta-killed by the sniper (this is the second one, not the first one) though, the bosses were challenging, i didn't struggle too much (clone-cop was the hardest, the gonome and advisor are relatively easy in comparison)
Same.
Good thing Valve didn't make EZ2 or else there would be no EZ3

problems of the mind are not problems of the soul, big homie
Last night when I first played the mod it started out with me genuinely not liking Wilson mainly just using him as a punching bag kicking him but as the story progressed I started to love the character so when he died I kind of legitimately cried
Its kinda sad knowing how 3650 hated his life and was probably on the brink of insanity. Like with his family being taken away and the combine wanting to make more copies of him.

And let’s just hope they make 3, by some random chance.

initially I had thought that this didn't fit the theme of Entropy Zero. Especially the anti-climactic ending. But after listening to it more, I have grown to love it.
Reminds me of the Black Mesa end credits.
