USC is going to play hard. After losing to Minnesota, they have something to prove to their fans and themselves. Penn State has to play a 60-minute game. Penn State must play physically, wear out the USC defense, and take control in the 4th quarter. It will be a challenge.
If Singleton plays pretty sure USC won't have much of a chance.
The Minny-USC game provides a good template. PSU will also need fresh legs in the 4th quarter. 82° in SoCal can be hot with that sun.

Penn State needs to play all four quarters, not two, not three but FOUR from the first snap!
PSU needs to start and end fast. Long drives, don't leave points on the field and don't beat ourselves.

USC is 2 plays from being 5-0. Winning on the road in the Big will be tough and teams will learn alot about how they will mitigate travel and other logistics. Penn State is going against a team that is every bit as good as them and probably better and travel will be a factor as has most Big game with everybody else. One more thing, the officiating has been horrible. The refs. don't seem to call holding or facemask in the Big and that is a thing USC is finding out and will have to get adjusted to moving forward. USC's offense is vastly different and their defense is stifling.
The Trojan defense is maybe slightly better than last year. But the offense has regressed completely. If should’ve would’ve could’ve the refs this the refs that. I don’t wanna hear it. We suck.. fight on! ✌️
USC is not every bit as good as PSU… PSU is better on both lines of scrimmage, has better RB’s, better TE’s and potentially better secondary although ive heard USC’s secondary is pretty good
@@billnyedoesminecraftjoseph8379 Our 2 losses have been in last minutes games 2 times zones away against defenses ranked very highly. We will see how Penn State travels because this will be their first game far away from the east coast. Your lines many be slightly better but our skill players are better. This is a evenly matched game as Penn State is no juggernault and again we play much better at home.

The D has given up 16 points the last 14 quarters. The passing offense needs consistency which I agree.
If USC cannot sure up their pass protection, then they will be in trouble again. Moss is a warrior and the WRs are talented, but they have not had the time to run those mid-deep routes. That has led to a lot of QB hits and picks. Lynn and co. have done an excellent job on D, but they still lack depth in the trenches.

With the way USC is playing lately, it's probably correct. USC was robbed on Saturday. I'm not impressed with the performance of Penn either. Slow starts like UCLA isn't good with the remaining schedule. A six hour flight to California , ouch.

Penn St will be there early enough to adjust to the time difference. Plus unlike the UCLA game it will be at 3:30 so a normal 12:30 game for Penn St.

You have to think USC team is gassed... Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota are all similar type of physical teams and none were easy games.

Just lost our potential All American linebacker to injury/concussions. I think we were potentially #3-#5 in B10 earlier. Injuries , guys redshirting and weak Oline play has killed us. So yeah , we are probably upper-mid now. Hoping we at least give a fight. Your DL is STRONG.
