Can I 112% Hollow Knight Before Silksong Comes Out?

- I played Hollow Knight for the first time a few years ago, but tried to do it blind and kept getting lost LOL. So I gave up on the game, and I now realize how big of a mistake that was.
I had to really crunch to get this video out, so I hope you all enjoy :)

@suspicious_doorspeaking from the average player (picked up the game only a month ago) I'm still stuck at p4 (screw pv it's such a good boss). I'm probably leaving the 111% save before silksong. P5 would be out of the question tbh
@suspicious_door i vaguely recall P5 being a requirement for max% runs, but then it got changed and TC removed it from the percentage completion
(might also be mandela effect, as i cannot find any info on that topic, take the statement with a grain of salt)
@jonnycrabtree6591 That's where I was a couple of years ago. Now I decided to make a final attempt to tie up some loose ends before Silksong and ended up beating P4 (and NKG) in just a couple of days. Don't give up yet! 🙂

The harder version of broken vessel took me 3 hours and this guy said "it was hard, it took me 20 minutes"

how do you think i feel, i took 20 tries for soul master and he did soul tyrant right after it 😭 idk, sometimes you just have a random boss that beats you up

@cee_ves i did soul tyrant first try after dying to soul master more than 10 times and i will always say that it was an absolute fluke
lost kin is a pretty luck based fight, so it may cause issues. And a lot of people decimate broken vessel with high damage so they dont get used to his moves. Thats why lost kin could be slightly more of a pain
fun fact: Descending dark without the shaman stone does 5 more damage on the left shockwave than the right, this is removed when you equip shaman stone which causes each side to deal 50 damage

Grey Prince zote is a funny fight. When you think it couldn’t get worse, it does. The initial area where you fight him, he gets progressively harder… let’s just say you pretty much HAVE to no hit him and beat him 10 times for something you don’t need
lol. Great Prince Zote was the reason I left Zote to die in the run that I was going to beat pantheon 5 in.
@mrpotato5434 i beat p5 recently and let me tell you, zote can be learned suprisingly quite easily, once you know how he works like he is easy, markoth tho, holy, fighting that fucking moth made me wanna find kickstart backer that designed him and give him a very big hug in minecraft, i lost so many p5 runs because of markoth its a joke, i fucking hate markoth, the worst boss in the entire game, i really hope skong doesnt have anything as bullshit as markoth
@mrpotato5434 i was suffering against him, but when he started to do 3 hearts of damage: i ended up first trying him, def fueld by vengeance for my previous attempt. then he started doing 4 hearts and i almost no hit him… almost. he can two tap you but once you get his cycle down, hes not too bad. just annoying… especially the body slam attack

Recently replayed the game for the 112% like 4th time. Got it right under 10 hours. Only game I'm probably can sink a lot of my time without getting bored. So exited for silksong
I like this game but hate it at the same time, I’m a very linear game player, and having to explore every single path and take note of old ones is very annoying for me. Still tho, I want to keep at it and just beat the game lol.
@MiLLz____1 game is not linear at all, watch a couple speedruns. There are so many skips that you can do in the game and it makes it super open

fun fact there is a extra journal entry called "weathered mask" you get it by going to the land of storms which to get to you need to go into a crack that opens in a wall after beating each pantheon with all bindings.

@muhamm38 silksong is the name of the game that follows Hollow knight, its coming out tomorrow, and it features hornet(the one with the pink cloak) as the main character, in Hollow knight we just fight hornet as another boss, but despite the name of the game being silksong, her name is not, its actually hornet, the same way that the character we play as in Hollow knight is not The Hollow Knight, its actually another knight, one of the siblings of the hollow knight, but not the hollow knight itself, it can be a bit confusing when the main character is not the one the tittle refers to, but its pretty much it, i hope this clarified it a little bit, have a good one and enjoy silksong when it comes out tomorrow!

Loved the pure vessel and grimm fights, usually you see down to perfection recordings of their battles, witht he players having mastered every aspect of the mechanics. Seeing them done on a high level, yet with taking hits and maybe missing some attack windows feels ways more natural and assuring for when you fight them yourself

Tip for those who haven’t played Hollow Knight.
When doing the delicate flower quest, I highly recommend planning out a route in advance (use the map pins to highlight where you want to transition from one biome to another as you go), place a dream gate at the Grey Mourner’s house, run through the planned route killing every enemy in the way, get some practice on the last section of the route, teleport back to the dream gate, take the flower, then run the route for real. By doing this, you’ll eliminate enemies that only respawn when you bench from the equation, making the only obstacles be the enemies that respawn when you reenter a room and parkour.

The good thing about a lot of skips is that with a few exceptions, a lot of areas have routes designed to be accessible without certain abilities. You can get dream nail without any movement upgrades through the crystal peaks lantern path, for one.

Each boss has upwards of taken me 30+ attemps, i have been fighting lost kin for 3 hrs and still haven't defeated him and you say it took you 20 mins. Dayum your are crazy good

i love how instead of complaining about how the bosses or parkour is too hard this guy learns about the moves and learns ways to get through difficult areas. Some people need to take a lesson from this guy.
To this day im stillllll unable to finish the final pantheon boss rush. Ive managed to get to the Radiance 1 time and i got SAUCED, that was a few years ago now 😂😭
