The lyrics of this song is such a genius to me. Even normal people like me, not celebrity can relate to it on personal level. Such meaningful lyrics with very catchy tune, I’m sold. It’s truly good imo. When I checked the lyricist, it’s Sunwoo Jung-a, no wonder. She has always been a wonderful lyricist. She understood the struggles of each members on personal level and wrote a relatable song for them all and us. IVE members also delivered the song so well. Great job really. I wish this song is the tittle track. Koreans will really digged the ballad-ish sound and lyrics. But Baddie is popular too.

Hi DG 😄 It's as you said, Either Way is diametrically opposite to Kitsch and IAM. I took it more like, once the lights go out, the cameras are off and the members go back to real life. They're just another girl on the block (to their real friends). Like the baggage bit, family and friends may be at work etc and they don't have assistants helping them as they would. Taking a bike ride, just being free again in a sense but still having to deal with the fame, the good and bad. Absolutely love IVE, always look forward to your reactions. Personally, I usually don't really enjoy Ive's music, like, I don't find it bad at all, it's just not my thing... but this song and clip... I cried so much when I saw it for the first time, just a few weeks ago. Actually I am really really fan of (G)I-DLE, and Either Way made me feel exactly like I Do did, emotional and sad but in the most beautiful way. Simply fantastic.
It's just always Wonyoung and Yujin were showcased in IVE's music videos. Starship can't even hide their favoritism. The big scenes and most screentime is always those two. No wonder why IVE struggles to become a bigger name.
