I absolutely love your vlogs! You give such good step by step help, I feel like I have a local tour guide sharing all the things I need to know before visiting London. The time you visited each spot was extremely helpful, as was the map showing exactly where you were at when you were at a location. Again, you show things that no one else has mentioned on a vlog about Greenwich. Thank you for sharing! I hope you keep adding to the London playlist!
Aww I miss greenwich!! I studied at the university of greenwich , and I absolutely loved walking into that campus everyday, exploring the area and seeing movie sets for films like Cruella!
Wow- I’ve been a follower of your Hawaii videos and newsletter and now you’re in London! Great timing because I’m visiting in May. Thank you for all the info!
Hi guys! I'm so glad your video popped up on my feed! You guys are terrific and so knowledgeable! I lived in London for a summer (years ago) and I love hearing about all these hidden gems! Brilliant!! Can't wait for more 🍻
I'm glad the mighty RUclips algorithm shared our videos with you! Thanks so much for the lovely comment. I hope you can visit London again soon! We are here to help with your planning.
i mihgt be done watching every video you've made. thanks!! I loved when your daughter would yell "doo doo doo! into the camera. :-) looking forward to checking out some of the markets and pubs you've recommended in March
Do not forget the Woolwich foot tunnel 2 miles downriver, underneath the Woolwich Ferry. It is built/dug to the same template as the Greenwich tunnel a few years later. The tunnels allowed the dockers (who were hired for the day only) to cross from one side of the river to the other looking for work. The Woolwich tunnel is a little bit deeper and longer and, as it is much less used, more neglected and grubbier.
4:09 that line continues through the railing and is shown on the path just beyond. You can still do the foot on each side thing without paying to enter the Observatory. If I remember correctly there is a small kissing gate to get to the path, but its free.
I’ve watched your videos on Maui before and just found this when I searched Greenwich London. Heading there next month. Great video as usual, are you guys still living on Maui?
Thank you for these videos! I feel like we are kindred spirits! Would you recommend going to the painted hall, or the prime Meridian first? As I think they would be the most crowded spots . My husband and I are planning to go to London in April for my 40th birthday. We have two kids (7and 4yrs). Side questions- would you bring a stroller? I don’t like the thought of hauling it up/down stairs but we are used to bringing it on our travels! Also, any idea for a special dinner or something kid friendly on my birthday?
Looks amazing! Can you clarify for me, if visiting the Cutty Sark, can you just walk around without a tour, and if yes, what’s a good amount to set for it? One hour?
@@YourGuidesAbroad thanks so much!!! Trying to see if I can do both the Cutty Sark and a planetarium show at the Observatory before 5:00 closing. Appreciate your channel!

That's a great tip! Thanks for sharing. I love getting that picture on the line.
was your stroller empty when it started running away from you? lol
No! Our son likes to ride in it and steer it with his feet. He has full control, I promise! Makes for suspenseful background footage!
I’ve watched your videos on Maui before and just found this when I searched Greenwich London. Heading there next month. Great video as usual, are you guys still living on Maui?
We don't live on Maui but we go back frequently to stay fresh on Hawaii! I'm glad you found our new channel!

There is another footpath under the Thames about 5 km / 3 miles downstream at Woolwich.
Thanks for sharing!
Love your videos. Going to London in May. How much is the boat ticket to Greenwich pier?
Around £9. I think we show the price when we are boarding.
Did anybody notice the stroller with the child rolling away?
Good catch! I love that shot. Our son was playing with the stroller. He was walking it.

About an hour is enough time. You can stay longer too but it isn’t that big. You have to buy a ticket to enter and it is a self guided tour.

FYI Its a pronounced Borough is pronounced Buh-ruh not Buh-row in UK English. So its the Royal "Buh-ruh" of Greenwich.
Thanks so much for sharing the correct pronunciation.
does it matter
Doing greenwich june 3 2025.
Have a great trip to Greenwich!
@ I will. Seen 3-4 Greenwich as not here in 70’s decided must do.
Think about tea at cutty sack
