Mike Jr thanks so much for this instructional video. I took the plunge, spent a little extra for this model. Buy once, cry once! My first grinder purchase ever too.
I have one of the older models, once t-shirt gets wrapped all around it there is no getting to the switch i had to yank the cord out. I'm going to get one of the cordless for safety its got a dead mans switch and it automatically turns off when it stalls. It is time to retire it after it found grandads t-shirt. It seems like it would cut really slow at only 8500 rpm. How does it perform compared to the old corded?
Makita! Helping us keep our eyeballs and fingers since 1915!

Great video. Thanks for putting it together! I just ordered one and can't wait to get it. Thanks, Mike!
Ahh. I was concerned about it doing a 'soft start' when starting from a stop at the high speed setting. Good to know it goes to full speed fast. :)
Very good review. Thanks!

Thank you for review.
Is it easy to hold this model with one hand during cutting?
