Learning through formal academic experience is really slow. If we assume he worked 8 hours a day on it (really low), that's 336 hours. It'd be the equivalent of 1.24 years worth of a single class, if you were in college with the expected out-of-class study hours.

This dad wears a cape, AND a halo!
Once again, it's LOVE for the win! Hate has caused many problems in this world, but it has never solved ONE.
Dr. King told us THIS truth, and this loving dad is a perfect example of what he meant:
*“As my sufferings mounted I soon realized that there were two ways in which I could respond to my situation -- either to react with bitterness or seek to transform the suffering into a creative force. I decided to follow the latter course.”*
      ― Martin Luther King Jr.
P.S. I love you, Andy, and thank you for bringing these moments of goodness to us. You are not only devastatingly handsome, but you are a bright light in a world that seems to be getting darker.😻

The most impressive thing is that he learned it from English-language papers, because translation tools like Google translate are often pretty iffy.

Stories like these always make me wonder just how many people there are that could be doing something great/important that would be a gift to humanity, but they never had the chance to try or find out that they could be great at something they my have never considered due to circumstances in their lives that they couldn't control.
