I wasn't making a comparison, the point I was making is that if you did heavy research on the backstory and development behind the 2005 CGI Valiant, you would come to reasonable conclusion that Studio Ghibli isn't as well known as people think.
You see, development on Valiant generated a hype of doing computer animation in Europe. John H. Williams, who served as a producer of the Shrek films as well as Valiant, said that it was important for Vanguard Animation to be the first American production company to do computer animation in Europe with a major studio attached. That major studio is none other than Britain's legendary Ealing Studios. Approximately 200 people from all world arrived at Ealing Studios to work on Valiant. Considering also the fact that the UK Film Council gave alot of financial backing to Valiant, you can say Studio Ghibli has failed to leave a lasting impression.
1:09 when Wilfred Cameron is honored and knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for defeating Gunnar von Bire and bringing the sun back to England.
I feel sorry for those who became diehard fans of Studio Ghibli. Movies such as Valiant prove that Ghibli isn't as well known as people think.
Why do you compare Valiant to Ghibli?

But what has the Ghibli Studio to do with Valiant? :)

Oh I see! Did not knew that :)
For me it was only an animated movie from childhood.
