Wow, an incredible find... some of my fondest memories are flooding back to me! I grew up with this exact floor plan except the year earlier in 1972 (nose was sharp instead of rounded). We later added the buddy seat and roof air. The front bunk was where I slept and it was hinged at the front adding to daytime storage space. I remember shopping with my Dad when he picked this one out, a big move up from a tent trailer. We had many grand adventures and over the years we owned it put on more than 100,000 miles. The best of times to be a kid- miss it lots.

Wow I can only imagine all that you remember. Isn't that the beauty of RVs they offer so much more then just a place to stay. The Adventures and Experiences you have are priceless and live on forever. I'm so glad you found this and we had a chance to share something with you that brought all of that to the forefront of your mind. Thanks for watching and sharing your memories.

Mine was a 1976 with no buddy seat but I sold it for way more than I paid for it because I drove it to Florida and everyone there loves like new old Winnebago's!

That is a D20, its 20 feet long. And sadly, as far as I can tell, Barbie never had an eyebrow Winnebago, but correct me if I'm wrong, I'm always happy to add to my collection. ;) If you ever get a chance to be in Indiana, visit RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum.

It may not have been Barbie, she had that gorgeous GMC but there was another doll toy Brave that I always dreamed of having. Let's face it I want them all and always have 🙃 You are in luck we just started publishing our wonderful finds from the Elkhart RV Hall of Fame. Check them out. We started with a group from the 50's. We aren't entirely sure as when the museum takes over the RV they do some restoration where necessary but we aren't sure in what areas. The idea is to take them back to their original condition.

Nice looking Winnebago. I used to not like Winnebagos of the 1970s. I don't know why. At the time, I didn't find them very attractive, at least compared to the likes of the *GMC Motorhome* of the 70s, or the *FMC Motorhome.*

    • @DoesSizeMatter
