I feel it means that a person can give the love they wished they could receive, but have been hurt to the point that they can't feel safe in love so everyone who tries to live them back they feel it is superficial... My story 😞
The definition of love is biblical. Patient, kind, it keeps no records of wrong, etc. "No WEAPon formed will prosper." It doesn't mean that the weapons won't be formed, it means that if you trust God, they won't prosper. "Walk by Faith and not by sight." If you close your eyes and find the melody, the love is between the lines. "If God be with us, who can be against us?", so "Whom (what) shall I fear?!? Energy doesn't lie. Eyes don't lie. Just open them and you'll see the beauty of the life that you've created and the souls that you've touched. We are forgiven.
So many people from different times, songs like this and lil waynes ft bruno mirrors, drakes marvins room, times were different then, you felt pain but you knew it was not permanent but now life is so fragile that consequences are permanent, damn i can’t believe im here in this point in life
You give so much of your love and yourself, but you've barely had it reciprocated. Because of that, you're unsure if it's love or if there's some sort of ulterior motive attached to it. True love knows no bounds, and that's what confuses people and turns them off or away from it.
Actually, speaking from experience, I took this song as-- it's easy to show (what most woman think is love, well the portion of you, you're willing to share) at first, then when you realize you can fall in love with this person; the past hurt, pain, and heart break, reminds you that the last time you fell in love, you tripped, therefore, fear and worry of reliving those same feelings start to linger and you question if this innocent woman who had nothing to do with your past would be just as capable of breaking the pieces of your heart that you're still trying to put back together. Insecurities, trust, honestly start to come into question and you get scared and unintentionally sabotage this relationship, that's nothing like your past, because you're to scared to take a risk, but she understands and knows your hurt and has the strength to risk her heart while helping you pick up the pieces of yours to make it whole again, not to mention the abandonment issues of my father not being there to help me work through relationships, yet wants to give me advice on how it supposed to be now that he's back in my life as if his relationship with my mom wasn't toxic. Now that I'm older, I understand not all relationships are gonna turn out like I hope they would. **THATS WHAT MY PERSPECTIVE AND EXPERIENCE IS AND GOT FROM THIS**
I guess it can be interpreted in a number of ways. But me personally, I see it in this way: if I choose to give and show love to some1, it's a choice that I ultimately have control of in the sense that I can choose whether to stop or not and more importantly, WHEN to stop. It essentially puts me in the driver's seat with full control over my own emotions and feelings. However, if I choose to accept and allow love into my life, it allows that other person to get a hand on the wheel.. they can choose to stop loving me, as well as choosing to leave me. The decision to keep someone's love/heart is outta my hands and the choice as to whether I'm hurt or not is no longer under my full control. That being said, I think people tend to feel this way, causing a strong "fear of a broken heart", and in turn, creates distance and ultimately dismisses the notion that love is forever and connections will last. "You can't miss what u never had" meaning if I hadn't allowed love to enter my heart in the first place, then I would not now know the pain of what it feels like when that love is taken away from me... So yea, that's my take on it. And btw, all the answers above mine are all great interpretations. Stay safe y'all n God bless ✌️
I take as “it’s easier to give affection and love to others than it is to accept the same from others” because you know your own feelings and emotions. It’s harder to trust others intentions. Therefore it’s harder to accept others love as genuine. It’s hard to trust what is outside of yourself
When he said “I want to take it back when I was that kid in the basement” he was talking about his very first mixtape called “Room for Improvement “ Let me tell you he’s definitely improved since that mixtape! I only like 1 song on the mixtape 😅 and i am a drake fan
I’m so done I got admitt I ain’t feeling it Since u got caught up With the bullshit I ain’t with it I just wanted ur love I used to want u so bad Wasted time I can’t get back
Definitely one of the chillest song on the album nothing was the same definitely one of my favorite songs on the album and definitely top 5 song on the album to
Balancing our duality . Masculine and feminine energies. Becoming aware of our own yin and yang and accepting it . Feminine receives . When we are not aligned with our inner goddess and growing, nurturing , accepting and divinely guided worth , then it's hard to receive or feel worthy of such . What we receive as feminine we expand and create whole worlds . Multiply nurture fully love and let go of lack and bondage . Lol I'm going internal here . Too deep for the shallow and empty vessels . Woops . Love u all . Apparently drake tapped into his feminine a little too much . Any who . Hope this helps at least one person
Imagine trying to discredit a artiste that actually delivers good music. Imagine thinking freestyle skills is more valuable than this. They hate cause they can't create.
