Diego Maradona's cigar 'sparked Chelsea's hotel fire alarm'
Diego Maradona has been accused of inadvertently helping out Manchester United by causing the fire alarm that dragged Chelsea players out of their beds.
A report in the Sun claims Maradona's love of Cuban cigars was to blame for evacuation of Manchester's Radisson Edwardian Hotel at 7am on Sunday morning, just nine hours before kick-off at Old Trafford.
Chelsea's players were forced to wait outside the hotel in bitterly cold conditions for 40 minutes before the could return to their rooms.
United went on to defeat a tired-looking Chelsea side 3-0 while Argentina coach Maradona - in Manchester to watch Carlos Tevez - watched from the stands.
The Sun quotes a fireman at the scene saying: "It looks as though it was set off by Diego and his entourage smoking cigars on the 14th floor."

Every spanish speaking country uses different kind of words.It's still the same languange and we understand each other but there are some words like, for example, "arriba, arriba" and "andale". Both of those are mexican slang but an argentinian wouldn't use it.

Yes, both spanish, but is like comparing the british englesh and the américan englesh... they are both the same lenguage, but words are different, even the voice modulation is not the same...

@martintoscano1 they do know. but it's just general stereotypes for latin america they use, and overdo it aswell. they are quite aware of it, trust me. it's just their type of humor which seems to be a hit in norway at least (which is where their supposed to be funny anyway) and trust me, they are.
