We learn to trust ourselves by not betraying that which we acknowledge to be the best we are.

In the early 2000's I interviewed strangers in NYC about this in this video ruclips.net/video/8RwA1iEQQf8/видео.html

@transcend_with_markroach Glad you liked it! I'm tempted to film another one just like that, wondering how people will respond in 2025...

Trust, but verify and then adjust. Even a dead fish can go with the flow.

Thanks for watching.... absolutely. Alignment with a higher sense of authority usually takes some time and refinement. Well said! Robots and dead fish and joiners going with the flow may be "trusting" in a different sense than intended here.

Wisdom, huh? I'll tell you what... Give me all of your life savings and trust that I will give it back to you.
No, I'm not trying to steal from you. I'm just illustrating the hypocrisy of this content. If you're not willing to trust me, how the Hell are you going to ask me to trust you? Or anyone else?

You raise a valid point about trust and its complexities. It's definitely a two-way street, and building genuine trust takes time and effort from both sides.
