Freefall: Evo 2 Pro Cinematic Drone Experience (6K)

The Evo 2 Pro cuts into the darkness and illuminates the cityscape in some of the highest quality night footage of Miami ever seen on RUclips. This Cinematic Drone Footage was shot in 10-Bit 6K on the Autel Evo II Pro in Miami, Florida. A few clips were also shot handheld as needed to complete the composition. All UAS flights in controlled airspace were performed in accordance with part 107 regulations and FAA approval.

Yo, that mask transition at 2:47 was nice! I found this from your post at autelpilots where you mentioned this was shot in log+HDR. I'd love to see a video like this uploaded in HDR (maybe your next one :). I just ordered my Evo 2 Pro V3 and looking forward to making videos like this! Cheers

Glad you enjoyed it! This was indeed shot in LOG+HDR, which afaik is unique to the Evo 2 and offers mind-blowing dynamic range and color vibrancy at night. You will definitely enjoy the images it puts out. At some point I'd like to upload the HDR10 special edition version of Freefall, once my computer is able to do it without crashing.

Nice. I process and upload HDR to RUclips frequently. If it helps, you don’t need to encode HDR10 metadata. You just need to export in REC2100 colorspace, which allows you to still use hardware acceleration in Premiere Pro (if that’s your editor). RUclips will recognize it as HDR and process accordingly. I use HLG, but PQ is fine too. Assuming the source footage is HDR, then you will reproduce the same in your export.
