I got this kit from OOD a bit ago and had the slam fire issue, but that prime was so so awful it didn't make a difference. I got a bit tired managing its seal for consistency with the newer threaded barrel, which oddly doesn't seal well with the metal pusher. Glad you're happy with yours though, great video showing how to open it up for those looking how as well!
I don't know about the barrel...I put a Swin one in mine, it seems to seal well. I'll update if anything happen...but you're totally right, this prime is not fun, I will revert to a softer spring
Funny i got the one black raisins was offering when it came out. I got all the same stuff in mine but i also got a extended back end so it can use springs that the worker blasters use. It was all metal.
This one is different... Black Raisin's kit was not as well made and the Pusher base was thinner which impaired the Slam Fire. This one is The Official XYL Kit for the Unicorn, quality and fit are way better.
@@thatoldnerfguy yeah i do have problems with the blaster firing with the black raisins kit now that you say that. I am planning to get another xly soon so i will definitely pick up the official kit instead. Thank you as always.
@@thatoldnerfguythat’s good to know. It’s a shame that rear buffer tube part isn’t available through XYL. Seems like that part is the best part of their upgrade.

Hello there, what length of barrel did you end up going with. I also have a spare swin barrel which might be a good use for it.
