Bike Week def brought the crowds in this year! When you pointed out the 'Wild Olive' street sign, I got chills... the street has been on the News the last few days where a couple was brutally killed riding their bicycles home fro Main Street a few nights back, just terrible😣

I used to work the Sturgis rally. I helped set up the tents for Harley, Indian, and a number of other high profile clients and other big-tent events. Almost any big tent that you saw in Sturgis from 1994 to around 2005, I was probably involved with it. Good times. :)

Spring Break starts for me at 2:00 today & it’s 70 degrees, then dropping to the 30s this weekend. Always need a backup plan here. Have a great day & weekend.

Was just there last week and witnessed a large number of motorcycles but nothing like what you just showed but Daytona Beach was awesome and fun times even visited Buc-ee’s!
Cool video Adam.. I did Daytona bike week in 1994 and 2003 . But i much prefer Sturgis bike rally in Sturgis SD . The rally encompasses hundreds of square miles and towns, nothing else like it. You should try and take that in if you can . August every year

I have very fond memories from Daytona Bike Week in 2003, beautiful sunshine all the way through and super bargains on shirts and leather wear, half the price (or even less) I would pay here in overprized Switzerland! (still using top quality leather flip flops after all those years, no damage at all) And sooooooo many pics from bikes, aaahh yes i feel homesick right now!
Daughter and I visited the Pier that day Bucees opened. Cool to see it and the surrounding areas again. I thought the bandshell was pretty cool. And finally you got to relive that one scene from Miami Connection you didn’t get before! :-)
Well I think it was around 1996 when I travelled from Australia to Orlando and Daytona . The speedway is very cool we did a tour around the track and you can try and climb the embankments they are a lot steeper than you think . It really comes alive during Bike week .
Adam…..you should check out Leesburg Bikefest this year…..it’s April 21-24, leesburg, Florida…..only an hour or so north of where you live! It’s pretty impressive……leesburg has a population of like 25,000 and on that weekend there is about 300,000 people there!! They usually have really good concerts as well
Pretty cool Adam, if you ever thought of getting a possible chance to see a Daytona race at the track it would be well worth it. A lot of fun if your ears can take it. 😎👍
I’ve been a rider for many years. I can see you really enjoy riding a motorcycle across America and exploring. Cheap on fuel and so freeing. I think a BMW GS would be a great bike for you. Watch the documentary called long way round. Ewan McGregor and his buddy ride the BMW GS’s around the world. Then made a sequel called Long Way Down from the top of Africa to Cape Town. You would enjoy them. I know if you hit the open road on a bike you would be hooked. Would be some neat content too.
@TheDailyWoo there are a couple of other places to visit when in daytona Beach bike week. 1) Mary MCloud Bethune Blvd/2nd Ave is by the college. There are vendors there also. 2)US 1 has alot of bars and camp grounds where the bikers visit. 3)Ridgewood Ave are more bars and hang outs 4)The famous Sopotnick Cabbage Patch bar on Tomoka Farms Rd. (May have new location in New smyrna Beach) good food vendors music and of course Cabbage Patch wrestling. --not like the old days but just as fun. Enjoy
I lived in Daytona for 4 years. Bike Week would overlap Spring Break. When we (Security Guards) would tell kids to keep it down - they'd be like, "Yeah Right!" When bikers would bang on their doors and tell 'em - things would get much quieter and last much longer! Good times!
That's cap. Any FL native knows that bikers are just another tourist. Most of them have 0 respect in public and act like drunk belligerent assholes. They need to stay back where they came from and wait for Sturgis to re open
Strange watching the intro...filming close to a cemetery that looks like the one in the movie Mask (Cher, Sam Elliott and Eric Stoltz) It was a long frontage with a main drag. And...the beach pier looked like the one in the movie Indecent Proposal (Robert Redford, Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson). The scene, at the end, where she walks the long pier to find, Woody, sitting on the otherside. They reunite with a "reach across" hand grip...Aaaaahhhh...beautiful! 😄 Anywho...just a few observations...probably, NOT the filming locations, but just appeared so. I have been to Daytona Bike Week with my Am. Ironhorse...Great times! Keep up the GREAT work, Sir Woo!

It rains most summer afternoons, from the heat, the typical, southern humidity, and the extra humidity coming off the ocean and the gulf. But the afternoon thunderstorms usually don't last too long before the sun is back out. Winter is usually fairly dry.

@5:30 reminds me of the guy I bumped into last month metal detecting in the woods by my place looking for old turn of the century items , I mentioned that back in the mid 1980's I lost quite a few Chinese & Ninja throwing stars......a few days later what do I find , a few of those stars that was lost ,he put them on my porch, some was rusted thru & 2 of the high quality Ninja stars was just pitted ,but perfectly usable for being underground for almost 4 decades, want to thank him the next time I see him

I have been fortunate to not have only played with a band at Boot Hill Saloon during Bike Week but with another band during Biketoberfest across from The Iron Horse.
Awesome video Adam that light blue bike was amazing looking and I always wanted to go to bike week in Daytona me and my ex went to Daytona for a week back in June 2020 it wasn't to bad not alot was open at the time but it was still enjoyable there.

Wow it looks like a repeat of last year it is going to rain 🌧 at Daytona Beach, Florida for the bike week. But last year you were there that time was during the pandemic and it was raining.
Yep, dry weather in Florida for weeks, then this happens for bike week. On Sunday, it's supposed to start out in the 40s in the morning for Central Florida....brrr.
FYI every single year the weather is bad during bike week. I've been here over 20 years and without fail every single week during bike week is is either cold and or raining. Check the weather next week. Guarantee it'll be sunny and beautiful.

Agreed! The GS seems like a wonderful machine. But an Africa Twin is a great runner up.
