He's my favorite ever
Unfortunatelly i confronted people who do (there is always someone :D). Often they think, that Jiri does it to look cool, not as his atypical style of life. Funny how social media and nowdays style of life learned them, that anything what someone’s doing and it’s somehow different, must be for looking "cool".
I respect him. But am impartial.
I am glad to have a samurai as a UFC champion. Jiri is a awesome human being

Jiri will be the biggest star in the history of the UFC, if he can win a few more times. He looks like a movie character and he's also physically huge and tall, and so he could get a ton of movie roles. His physical stature and his really intriguing accent, along with his "ancient warrior" personality, make him unique. He's also the best role model among active champions.

There are some people in Czech Republic hating that he talk the same samurai nonsense but to be honest - what kind of sick individual you are when you have to write negative hateful stuff on the internet :) so there are not normal people who does not like Jiri, only trash people :)

IDk I am czech and as I am watching him I actualy think you can tell when he is rested and happy because he will speak better english.. sometimes he talks really bad, sometimes he is like yeah... very good and fast talking... crative words.. if Jiri speaks good english before fight you can tell he is gonna win, if bad english there is something wrong

I think he was trying to put himself in a very harsh mental environment. Depriving himself of food or entertainment or anything. I think he did this so he can confront his “demons” the most primal part of his fears and mindset.

Ariel’s interviews really are the best. He asks the tough personal questions and is super polite and says ok and backs off when they say they don’t wanna talk about it
I'll give Ariel a lot of credit. He's earned everything he has.
I don't often listen to Ariel, because I think the personal questions are extremely rude. He knows full well when he's crossing the line, and it's not clear why he does it. But I like Ariel, he's obviously a really good person and a great interviewer. But I don't agree with asking really unnecessary interrogative questions. He actually made Joanna Champion burst into tears and storm off stage.
He's english just keeps improving. This man is the most unique character I have ever come across, I wish him more success.

i think Jiri dismantles him. outside of attributes and ability (which Jiri has over him all day imo) the heart gap is massive. Jiri has shown that the damage he can inflict is exceeded only by the damage he can survive. he has lost by submission but he never tapped. on the other hand Ankalaev tapped to Paul Craig.

wow jiri is truly inspiring. he's so unique both in his attitude towards life but also his fighting style. imo the most entertaining style in the ufc. i think he's gonna get one of the most unthinkable knockouts ever in a title fight sometime during his ufc career

Kill or be killed fighter with a very different mentality and approach. practices what he preaches and gave us a great title fight yet this will still get less views than some dimwit yelling “i smesh brather” or “yeah I’m gonna mess him up, my opponent is a fool” for 25 minute straight.
real ones are always a few years ahead of their time. by the end of 2024 he will have 4 title defences and in line for a superfight (Adesanya, Pereira, Jones, Ngannou, Gane etc.)

@@20FreeWill Because he was thinking in Czech.... In Czech he said "svatý" which is the equivalent of holy in English. But what he truly meant was more akin to a "spiritual" or "mystical" experience in English.
So I assume that based on that he tried to say "svatý" or "saint" in English, which however doesn't fully encapsulate the original meaning.

Jiri should get his belt back then immediately vacate it and move up to heavyweight. Take some time out to get the weight up and heal further. Heavyweight is open to contention with Jones at the top and without new blood in the heavyweight division its just going to turn into 205 all over again with Jones sat at top.

@@robertdoyle9180 prostitution is practicaly legal, but weed is only on medical prescription or there is minor offense if you have under 10grams, but legislative is changing about it little bit, cops dont care about this in real situations, they solve diff things so it is not unrare to see somebody smoke on the street.=)
I'd be really curious to hear if Jiri uses psilocybin or avoids it because he erroneously lumps it in with alcohol and other "substances" that can compromise the body and mind. He speaks like someone who has at least dipped his toes into that world....however I do know that many people who read about and participate in meditation "culture" sometimes espouse the ideas and terminology. I don't disdain that stuff really, although I do believe that, with psilocybin therapy, one comes to those ideas independently and articulates them in their own way versus reading someone else's articulation and trying to suss out meaning from that.
I can imagine some use of psilocybin would really compliment Jiri's approach and growth as a fighter, a person and an autodidact.
I don't think psilocybin helps you to realize nothing, it just puts you in a more coherent mind state, but I can see what you mean about Jiri trying it.
