I remember playing this game for hours straight... In my main save file I have 54 hours of gameplay. I've played it since I was 6, when this came out in 2005. Now, I still play it, and it never gets tiring! This is one of the best damn games in the Xbox 360. Rare really did an awesome game! Too bad the sequel was never made...
This game needed so much more attention when it was released, but a poor game came out whilst Kameo came out. This game is the first game I was to ever play. I'm 12 now and still have the game working and still play it over and over, it never gets old (: This game needed more attention, it sadly didn't though
8 years old, god damn time flies, the last time I played this game was over 5 years ago. I think what I'm going to do before the next gen consoles launch is go through all of the launch games from the ps3 to the 360 for old time sake. An amazing game and truly under appreciated by nearly everyone.
@@godisreal2537 It's one of The best single player offline games in my opinion. Its suitable for any age and is something that I believe all young (modern) kids that are immersed in modern online HD games should experience, especially now that it will be remastered and available on XboxOne (But 'eveyone knows' it's even better if you own the disk on the original Xbox or Xbox360). The story is amazing, full of fantasy and easy to follow/enjoy. It has some likable characters/creatures and very unique enemies/villains with understandable / interesting motives. Gameplay is full of action, suspense & requires you to use critical thinking/puzzle solving skills, along with being very fun and humerous at times. The controls could have been better, but doesn't take away from the gameplay. Plus I get a major nostalgia trip off playing it. Have you played the game?
George Andreas wanted to make a sequel but MS said no. As you probably know, this guy is the creator of original Banjo Kazooie, DK64 and Kameo. When he started to work at Rare in 1996 he was the designer for Donkey Kong Land 2 on GameBoy, Donkey Kong Country 3 on SNES, Killer Instinct Gold and Blast Corps on N64. Now he has left Rare and become creative director of SCEE. It seems MS is preparing Xbox 720 to be the ultimate kinect console with multiple sensors. Phil Harrison is aboard.
I don't get it. People are saying Rare sucks when they got bought buy Microsoft but this game looks exactly like a fun Rare game to me. Never played it but it looks like something Rare would make and looks really good.
gamerprince1999 This game started development while Rare were still with Nintendo and was originally supposed to be released for the Gamecube before M$ bought them.
This was my absolute childhood game. Because of this I remember wanting to be a warrior when i grew up (don't want that anymore XD). I loved fairies and princesses, but also action and dark (?) fantasy, and this was the perfect balance between those two sides! She was my idol i think... I was really terrified of Old Mawood, and Corallis, and those Shadow Troll levels. I played it all over and over and over again, even played on my own when the game was finished, and I would invent my own story... I think i played it when I was about 4? And it was my top favourite up until I was like 11, when I still loved it dearly, but came to love other games too. ...Okay I want to play this again. I'm 14 now and it's been like 3 years since I last played it. ...Bye.
well red ring of death is pretty easy to fix if u know the problem if you look up what code you had while u started your xbox up you maybe could have fixed it :P but i approve ps3 too cuz internet is free and less problems with disconnecting and stuff
YEEEAAAAAHHHHH M8 IT'S BEAUTFIUL okay i may be commenting too much but i'm just really passionate about this game and i haven't got anything better to do. Apart from play the game again.
I dont quite remember why, but when I first heard of this game, I thought it was gonna be awesome. Back then Rare was still working with nintendo. And from what I had read and had seen I really liked what i saw. But something they changed when Rare went to microsoft changed my opinion of the game. Although i cant for the life of me remember what change they made. Does anyone know? I think it had something to do with her power (the spirits) but im not sure.. ~Jkun~
As a kid, this game was my favourite. The first real game I completed and I loved it so much. I could explore the world for hours. It is amazing :-)
Same with me :)
Same, i kept beating the game over and over again
Lol same and im still playimg it
Yeah I had never beaten the game, I was too dumb, and too young at the time. Had finished the game for the first time 2 days ago
They should make kameo 2
highly under-rated game right here.
Agree I've been playing this for a year and have enjoyed it
