You'll only hear it if you believe that your works and turning from sin is getting you to heaven. Jesus is the only way we get to heaven. Nothing else. There's not a thing in this world we can do that will get us into heaven except believe in him and what he did.

As a Gen Z Christian this hits hard. Not only does it sadden me that many will perish because of the deception(s) and because of the evil that is so rampant in society but weve had the answer for 2000 years right in front of us and yet we continue with the same mistakes and the same sins. How could I judge previous generation's if it has only become easier to sin and harder to serve the will of our Father. Even now I recognize that Ive lived a worldly life rather than one in Christ so Im glad something like this showed up on my feed. If you have true faith in him and are striving to follow him daily by repenting and entering into a covenant with him through baptism, and enduring till the end you will enter into the kingdom of God.
Don’t forget the context of the verse. Jesus was speaking that to the Pharisees that believed that their works were solely enough to get them into Heaven with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. It’s not about what you do, it’s about what He’s done on the cross for our sins, so that by you believing in Him, you receive God’s grace, salvation, and forgiveness for your sins. As a Gen Z Christian this hits hard. Not only does it sadden me that many will perish because of the deception(s) and because of the evil that is so rampant in society but weve had the answer for 2000 years right in front of us and yet we continue with the same mistakes and the same sins. How could I judge previous generation's if it has only become easier to sin and harder to serve the will of our Father. Even now I recognize that Ive lived a worldly life rather than one in Christ so Im glad something like this showed up on my feed. It helps to remind and to provoke not just me but to those around, for our duty is not just to ourselves but to loved ones and strangers alike, to spread the Truth in the Gospels of Christ (He is the Only way to God). I first got the gospel from my mother from a toddlers bible when I was 4-5. Now I am baptized and I am truly, fit to say “I am a Christian.” The biggest gut punch had to be John 14:15.

If you have true faith in him and are striving to follow him daily by repenting and entering into a covenant with him through baptism, and enduring till the end you will enter into the kingdom of God.
Don’t forget the context of the verse. Jesus was speaking that to the Pharisees that believed that their works were solely enough to get them into Heaven with our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. It’s not about what you do, it’s about what He’s done on the cross for our sins, so that by you believing in Him, you receive God’s grace, salvation, and forgiveness for your sins. The work is finished. Now go, love your neighbor and sin no more.

The story of that centurion is one of my favorite in the Bible. Pure humbleness and faith in Christ.
As a Catholic, We do not agree with the woman at 0:55. We venerate Mary as someone who listened to God’s word and gave herself over to His plan. We strive to model after her but do not hold her at or above God. God Bless everyone!
