Great North Run - The Peoples Story

It was a great weekend of sporting events for the region. Stage on the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside, the Great North 5K, mini and junior Great North Run along with the Great North City Games returned on the Saturday of the weekend. The main event itself the Great North Run saw a massive turnout of runners and supporters for the 13.1 road race from Newcastle to South Shields.
