Hi Francis , I want to port a "custom" vmdk to PVE. The thing is that this one has: 1.bitlocker enabled (windows 10) 2.(virtual)TPM device present 3.VM is fully encrypted (Virtual Machine Settings->Options->Access Control=Encrypted) My questions are: a)Can I migrate it as is / how ? b) if not,do I really need to remove/disable all 3,2,1 ? Thanks!
I have no experience but it is worth to try. I think it is possible, because 1. BitLocker is a just a full-disk encryption feature in Windows , we need to unlock the BitLocker Drive: Before migration, ensure that the BitLocker-encrypted drive is unlocked on the source VM. 2. PVE supports TPM devices, and it should work seamlessly during migration. 3. Not yet tried before.
