I'm with you on this Korg - let's just pretend the last 10 years didn't really happen

can you imagine at NAMM 2000 "Korg replaces Trinity with the all new DW8000 flagship with wooden end panels"

Korg needs to partner with Apple and use iOS with M4 processing with a iPad like display that docks sticking up. Imagine the real performance and revolutionary experience it would provide. 😊❤
Maybe call it the Oasys 2 🤷‍♂️ 😊

The Kronos 3 should have had the wavestate, modwave, opsix and multi/poly engines added and poly aftertouch to begin with.....

I am dead serious to buy one. But I want Kronos 76 with Semi-weighted keys.

I think Korg reacted to what the keyboard community wanted. They wanted a successor to the Kronos/2 i.e. a new flagship offering. People realized the Nautilus wasn't a Kronos successor and that probably hurt sales of the Nautilus. I'm not sure the Kronos 3 will appeal to people who already own a Kronos/2. Yes, there is a faster boot time because of newer processor(s) and a new motherboard on the Kronos 3. The touchscreen is more responsive. Korg doubled the size of the SSD to 120 GB. There are new sounds which is nice to know. The Kronos 3 is made in Japan so it's probably built like a tank. The price points are very competitive too. It's a true workstation with an onboard Sampler and a 16 track Sequencer. I think the Kronos 3 will probably sell like hotcakes... mostly to people who've never owned a Kronos/2 before, in my opinion. The polyphony is still the same which is a bit of a let down. I've never owned a Korg product although the Kronos 3 seems quite appealing. I wish they would have made a 76-key semi-weighted version. Can't have everything I guess. 😞

I've been mulling this over since the news that a new Kronos was imminent, I am a genuine Korg fan (I own AND STILL USE Korg software as well as physical units including Wavestate, X5, Karma, M3 & Kronos 2011) so does this mean that sometime in June I upgrade my sound bank to my original v1 Kronos and it becomes a v3? ok I've already maxed out my dimms and added a second SSD hard disk? I know my boot time is slower than the new system and my screen isnt bad (or maybe i've just gotten used to it), my wooden end cheeks dont add to the sound, yeah nice black finish is cool....Hey listen in all fairness "how the hell can you continuously come out with "Kronos" level innovation??, I really have no idea how you can keep this up, but i suspect a rerelease without any real updates doesnt give off the right optics within the synth community. ps. Do appreciate the fact the price is realistic, so kudos for that.

I don't understand why no one plays this keyboard and everyone speaks? Who cares about talking?

No innovation here, they keep recycling the same keyboard over and over
