Do they run any madden championships NOT in MUT? MUT is all about understanding how the abilities impact the algorithm as opposed to traditional football.
MUT is arcade mode. It's like being able to perk up players in chess. That can be fun. But also, just because you're good in the souped up version of chess, doesn't mean you'll also be good in traditional mode.
I run into this quite often.
Most players in MUT want nothing to do with standard mode- because the field of play is even and based on traditional rules.
To each their own.
I prefer standard mode because I prefer the game to be based on an even playing field. Not a souped up arcade mode.

This just shows that it takes no skill to be good at madden nowadays. They both run the same play,same formation the whole game and on top of that both playing with the same legend players, how is this competition? Madden nation showed that if you was good you was good if you was trash you was trash. MUT made real good players to stop competing in tournaments because now you can just buy your way to be good.
