That is ridiculously large! So large that the doors take ten seconds to close and people can actually run inside the lift during that time. Also surprised that it's able to travel at 1m/s despite the monstrous size.
if people run inside while doors are closing, it will open back unless it's in nudge mode. Also, it uses 9 ropes and 18 pulleys, and it runs at 1 m/s with help of the MX100 motor as well.
As stated by the warning in the description, you must attend an exhibition in that place or attend the cultural centre at floors above. So, technically it's accessible to the public when exhibitions are set. So it's clearly a very secure convention centre. In my case, i went to attend the Fountain of Joy and to film this monster lift, I actually took permission from one of the managers of the convention centre.
It's a safe speed, at such roping ratio of 9:1, it's nearly impossible to travel faster. If that happens, then it might create a slight imbalance or something given the capacity, motor and roping arrangement.
Proud of jio team for making world’s largest elevator 🛗 ❤❤
And KONE as well

@@NeilPrasad_1905 yeah true but I was being hypothetical. Like imagine the same lift but with older safety features like a bumper instead of lasers.
@@praneeth_wtby that might still work but not as that effective as lasers. It would be unsuitable and unsafe when it's on nudge mode.
@@NeilPrasad_1905 absolutely
That Holds the World Record for the World's Biggest Elevator
Yes it does.
Woah, what motor does this KONE elevator use? MX32?
MX100
The Biggest Kone elevator i've never seen!
probably the biggest anyone in the world can see. Especially a passenger elevator.
Why didn’t you go all the way up to the 4th floor? Why only stop at G and 1?
Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to go to 4 at that time in order to comply with the policies there.
AMAZING AND HUGE! 😍😍
Yep, KONE did a wonderful job.
very nice biggest passenger lift world look seen one-of-a-kind!!
Yep, very one-of-a-kind masterpiece by KONE
This giant elevator has ac or normal fan

So is this lift publicly accessible for anyone to ride in?

LOL In Singapore even if there are no exhibitions you can walk in freely and take all sorts of lifts without security giving people a damn!
@@ZHD1987E Lucky for you guys there, but this is taken very seriously in India.
Elevator dance party!
even a moving ballroom
Capacity?
35,274 lbs
@@NeilPrasad_1905 kg and how many people can fit
i have the 2nd place and that is a Thyssenkrupp elevator with 10200 kg and 156 people can fit
@@errorpic1329 16,000 kg and over 200 passengers
@@errorpic1329 where?
This elevator is too slow and the doors are also very slow because it's too large.

This doot-head marvell in hinginiring vill fall afterll one lyear

All those extra L’s are the accentuation Indians would put on these worlds
