    Reflections are the hardest thing for me to grasp. I understand the idea. But I just struggle with putting them down on paper in a realistic way.

    Excellent video good sir. I appreciate your providing these videos that are great for beginners, and can teach those of us elder artists (sounds so much better than old farts 😁) a thing or two.
    Also, a tip from a pen & ink artist, when using pens, technical, gel or fountain, use the finest point you can first. That way if you are a bit shaky, you can move up to a broader nib and cover your mistake.

    Nice video Spencer. I’m starting to work with glossy and matte finishes in my industrial design classes. Do you think you could make a video in the future going over shadows? Stuff like the shadow direction and light direction with several different shapes. Maybe even shapes that stack on top of each other with their shadows or have any other interesting composition with shapes close to each other with the shadows?
