David Corenswet looks absolutely perfect in both Superman and Clark. I am especially excited for Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor since he looks very accurate to Lex from the comics, and you can see his burning hatred for Superman in his eyes. Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane also looks right out of rhe comics and she'll no doubt kill it as Lois and Im happy to see the Daily Planet staff flesh out Clarks work life. I also am hella excited for Guy Gardener's Green Lantern, Mr Terrific, Hawkgirl and Metamorpho's debut too, even if Guy Gardeners baldcut does look as dumb as it does in the 80's Justice League International comics. Im interested to see wht they do with this take on Ultraman since Im about 70% sure its going to be revealed that hes a clone of Superman, aka Bizarro. I could see Bizarro/Ultraman come to hate Clark/Superman just for how much hes reminded by Lex how much on an inferior copy he is to the original Superman thus he resents Clark and wants fo kill him to be the true Superman which maybe Clark tries to reason with him to help him and take down Lex Luthor.

Baka had lighting emitting powers but it's pretty similar in concept and design.
I'm glad we're finally getting Superman in a time when Superman Parodies like Homelander and Omni Man are popular now. Hope the film criticizes the evil Superhero Trope we've been seeing for a while. I'm tired of Homelander and Omni Man and other evil versions of basically Superman.
Kendra Saunders being the reincarnation of Shiera Saunders-Hall who was part of the JSA in the 40s, wouldn't be them "simplying" anything, that's already the case in the comics. Isabela's age also makes sense cause Kendra became Hawkgirl at 19 and is currently 22 in the comics

I think that for the DP, Gunn should take light inspiration from the Raimi Spider-Man films. I think Raimi balanced out the central plot and characters with the Daily Bugle SO WELL. Every character that works at the Daily Planet is fleshed out and it works so well
Both Eve Tesmacher and Otis have already been comic characters since 2000 and 2013 respectively. They may not be as prevalent as some other Lex Luthor related characters, but they *are* there.
