Leeds fan here, well done Ipswich, it's a truly amazing achievement, back to back promotions. You deserve it.
I'm 58 and have been watching the boys since I was 6 or 7 years old. I've known complete and utter joy: FA Cup, UEFA Cup, First Division Champions. And I've known heartbreak, relegation (several times). But the blue runs through my veins. I am excited for Saturday. I am not counting my chickens, all it takes is one mistake to undo the brilliant season.
I was sat near the Ipswich fans and you were incredible, I think any fan of football wants Ipswich to go up, the limbs for the for the goals was a joy to watch, they sang for 90 mins long and have to take my hat of to the fans, incredible support on the day, and hopefully a well deserved promotion.
The good ol days of Paul Mariner , John Wark et al is back. I m a Newcastle fan have a soft spot for Ipswich ( sir Bobby ) . Been a long time coming for you tractor boys. Enjoy the moment this sat at Portman road !

Fair play ipswich you have been brilliant all season in how you’ve kept going till the end in every game and the fantastic football you have played consistently. The table doesn’t lie at the end of the season and we all have a bit of luck both bad and good over the course, you deserve promotion in my opinion just hope we manage to grow a pair of balls in the playoffs and join you there but cannot see it happening. Not that much of an oldie! I was there in ’61 promotion to division 1, and ’62 champions of England, greatest achievement by any club anywhere, ever. Roy Stephenson was my favorite. But loving this team just as much.

Like desperate lunatic LUFC fans a few of us bought tickets in the Coventry home stand at the side of you. Unfortunately, last night became LUFC’s biggest game of the season. The pressure got to all of us (Leicester, Ipswich, Southampton and ourselves) in the last few weeks. It was all about who bottled it least, which is crazy when you look at the points per game that third will end with. I’ll be honest, doing doubles over Leicester & Ipswich should’ve been enough but we couldn’t find a way against the numerous sides who set-up with a ‘park the bus’ mentality and relied on individuals such as Rutter & Summerville to provide inspiration. I felt that Ipswich had goal-scorers throughout their side and we didn’t have enough in the tank in the end. Nobody flukes promotion over 46 games, so on that note - very well done Ipswich. It was a massive night for them and they held their nerve. Our mindset & subsequent capitulation at QPR was unforgivable #MOT

Spurs fan here from London but living in Norwich. My mates are all Yellows but I love that Ipswich are back where they belong.
