I've been binging your videos today :) Questions if I may...? How many photos do you take during a shoot? How long do you shoot for on average? And how many images per shoot do you edit?! xo
Hi! What I saw was amazing!! May I ask you something? I saw that you took the photos with 100mm macro at f20, why and didn’t you have diffraction? Thanks a lot and really amazing job!
Thank you Tarlie! I make slight adjustments to my setup whenever I shoot, so on this occasion I had a large octabox with a diffuser set high and angled down in front of the model. I also had a black board to the side of Charlotte which helped absorb even more light and produce the deeper/softer shadows. 🙂
Thank you! ☺ I used a large octabox with a diffuser which gives the lighting a very soft effect, I also had a black board at the side of the model to absorb more of the light and produce those deep soft shadows. 😊
Hi Kayleigh! I am a complete newbie in retouching. Please make a video on what is more better for retouching? - Ipad or MacBook? That would be soooo helpful!! Also i really want to take your retouching course but u have not provided any equipment details like what should we get....Laptop, touchpad, pencil? Please also mention that
The light in the room was incredibly bright that day, and I have no blinds on the windows haha. I wanted a very dark and soft effect, so due to the limits of my strobes and not being able to lower the power anymore, I had to adjust my apreture accordingly 🙂
@@KayleighJune Thanks Kayleigh, I was just very curious to know just how you had set an aperture so closed. Personally I would have increased the shutter speed to 1/2000 maybe if not more and lowered the ISO (also to avoid the deterioration of the dynamic range), but they are obviously personal considerations. Happy to follow your tutorials on RUclips which are always a source of inspiration. Thanks
Thank you so much! 🙂 I unfortunately don't believe I have the option with HSS with my current strobe kit as my strobes/transmitter are meant to sync at around 1/125 sec, so any higher shutter speed settings aren't really possible with my lights/transmitter currently. 🙂
Thanks for showing bts. I don't mean to be rude but couldn't help noticing your camera/hand holding technique. Do you suffer from any stresses or strains? I am a little concerned for your long term health. (meant in a helpful way)
Love these Kayleigh!! 🥰
Love you!!! 😘😘
Thèse are gorgeous! Your best pictures so far, I think!

is that the 24-70 mk 1?
Sure is! 😂
Hi Kayleigh! Noticed you use manual focus? Do you use that for most shoots?
Again a great video. How does the moodboard looks like for this Editorial hair beauty photo shoot, sent to the Mua and Hair teammembers?
Amazing!!! How do you make the image look kinda dreamy ? Especially the hair the light looks veeeery soft

Is their a grid on your modifier?

You need a laptop/pc. Capture One, Camera RAW or Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and a Graphics tablet
One light? or two lights?
I like this video.
Thanks Michael!
Good work 🤍👍🏽
Why do you use f 20 when you shoot?
Beautiful
❤❤
Why f20?

I really love everything about it, but I think the hair could’ve been better

Not at all, it's been 15 years of holding my camera this way, so I've definitely had time to strengthen my arm muscles :)
Please Check Mavrin on Insta. Can you replicate the look like the skin tones, feel? Retouching
thanks
my favorite youtube photographer by far 😭 your work definitely inspires mine 🙏🏾 @xlorenzom
Thank you so much Lorenzo! :)
