Thank you for offering such detailed information about this vacuum This is my first robot vacuum and I was extremely skeptical about these things and once I placed the Amazon order I was getting mad at myself for spending the money on something I was sure wouldn't work very well. But it came and I ran it the first time and I was shocked by how well it vacuumed. I have heard that the iRobot fills up and needs to be dumped really often which is what my neighbors hate about their and why I decided to do my research well before deciding on one. Let me just say that including standing dog hair under my bed my Husky feels the need to drag herself under even though she doesn't fit, so she scrapes her fur along the carpet and undercarriage of my bed (it's a strenuous effort for her to get in and out of but she insists). The vacuum didn't go back to self emptying charging station one time for my entire main floor including under my bed. It kept going until the battery ran out and then took itself back to charge and resumed vacuuming after about 2 hours of charging. My main brush (the yellow one) needed to be untangled seventies but that was not at all surprising and now that it got most of it it will only happen less and less if I run it on a good schedule. One thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is that it offers a tool with a brush and a safely covered blade that fits into the ridges in the main brush for tangled hair and stuff that needs to be cleaned out. If you open the lid, or go back to the video when he opened the lid to show the filter and dustbin within the vacuum you'll see a little brush that snaps into place right there. Also, you can dump the dust bin in the vacuum itself, yourself so the bag in the self emptying receptacle doesn't have to be changed often. I haven't tried the mop yet and was actually lookin up videos to see if I could use any floor cleaner or anything with the mop because I will miss the fresh clean smell my wet Swiffer pads left throughout the house. I bought this because I'm chronically ill and medically disabled unable to sweep, vacuum or mop my floors (hence the dog hair under the bed), plus my former roommate broke my vacuum and it was totally unfixable. I did want to also mention one last thing. I only have one room with carpet my bedroom. It is double padded double thick almost like a shag carpet with a haircut, or a trim. The hair and everything dog has been ground into the carpet for a few months before I could afford this vacuum (thanks mom!). I did not think this vacuum would do much if it could even vacuum this dense carpet at all. And the carpet is just barely off white by the way. It not only did a fantastic job but even upon the first run while it was mapping, left perfectly straight lines. I will be running it several more times just on the carpet until it seems to have gotten as much I can out of it.. This vacuum is well worth the money and from the sounds of it from my neighbor who also said their iRobot doesn't do so well on carpet. They have normal tan carpet and their house is always immaculate. It sounds as though $1200 for the brand name one is a major waste of money since this one does such a great job. Buy the $499 Yeedi vacuum and save your money. This thing is incredible!

Perhaps you should mention that there is absolutely NO Support staff to call! I’m getting ready to box mine up and send it back. Worst product support ever. I don’t use products made by people who are so unsure of what they produce that they are afraid to talk to you when something goes wrong with it.

No vac is powerful enough without a sonic mop. Sonic mops are used for mopping but also to shake the dust out of thick carpets (Roborock S7 is the best example here).
just bought one. part way through the first sweeping a little round plastic piece that goes on end of the "beater bar" to hold it in broke and jammed the rotation of the bar. I jury rigged that and NOW it won't dock to charge. It just creeps up to the charging station then backs off like it's scared to dock. Now I have to return the POS product. DON'T PURCHASE. Poor build

Oh it uses and needs 2.4G you'll have to enable it on your router.

Chris, I have been told by Yeedi that the batteries in this vac is not replaceable? Do you agree with that?
Well not user replaceable. But you can open then up and changed them but it's not super easy. Done it with my Roborock on of the first models.
Does this know when to vacuum and when to mop or is this in the settings? I'm looking to purchase. Thanks.
Settings and also if you have the mops on it will mop of course. No mops, no mopping.

Not a fan of the trash can. At least my Roborock can charge underneath the couch and doesn't take up any extra space... love that thing!
