Imagine doing Lap 2 in the Golden Passage
given the entire gimmick of golden passage is that the entrance and the frog switch are in the same spot, and a lap 2 in pizza tower typically places you in the room you destroyed the john pillar (with exceptions, such as WAR placing you in a room to gain some additional time or gnome forest and pig city placing you in a spot where you can switch back to gustavo and brick), wouldn't you be able to complete a lap 2 in about a second?
@@ChromaNyan Golden Passage and WAR are both Obligatory Race Levels™ so I'd imagine it would work the same way
@@spyr0guy the difference between golden passage and WAR is that WAR has both an entrance door and exit door in separate locations while golden passage's entrance is also its exit, you would almost have to respawn the treasures as well or place wario back at the location of the key (which would not make it an Authentic Lap 2™)
It could be like a TCTOP (The Crumbling Tower of Pizza) situation where there is no lap 2.

This actually works extremely well with the Wario Land 4 Sound Font. I feel Nintendo missed a big opporunity by not continuing the wario land series. Pizza Tower is an icon among 2D Platformers now.
The one on Wii was still alright but such a downgrade from 4. And we never got a new one after 2008. I love Pizza Tower but Wario himself is just such a fun protagonist I want him back

@@_G3M5_ I agree generally. Pizza Tower doesn’t have that same charm as Wario Land, but it has a different charm that’s also good. It still doesn’t take Wario Land 4’s place as my favorite game of all time though.

Oh THIS one I like! I remember being linked to a video that tried a similar cover a while ago, but this _blows it out of the park_ - it feels a lot fuller, and really nails both the panic-feeling of Pizza Tower's track combined with Wario Land 4's instrumentation. good job! 👏👏👏

Concept for Lap 3: Wario loses his timer and his money replaces it as if he ran out of time, but if he gets out, the amount that he would have got if he didn't do lap 3 will be doubled and Wario gets that money.
