Everything said here is true. I respect the creativity and thinking that goes into snake unlike the way some people play other campers, zoners, or whatever but also sometimes it just sucks to play against him.
12:38 I think the reason Sparg0 has been doing high back airs is to avoid nades that are on the floor (esp when Snake does shield nade). he might’ve thought it’s more consistent to always space bairs high in this MU to avoid nades regardless of if they were actually present (could help take a little off of his mental stack) but that left him open to crouch/dtilts going under bair.
It's interesting that we haven't really seen this archetype of snake at all and the way we're introduced is hurt top 8'ing every tournament he goes to. How long will it take for people to figure him out? Also sidenote just thought this was funny but I forgot that I opened hitman before clicking the video, and the music kicked in right when the set started it fit perfectly with the snake gameplay, but I was so confused like why did the editor make this set sound so serious 😭

Watching TG this tourney DEFINITELY felt like he and Hurt were playing a somehow extremely similar way with two totally different characters. Had to be the grenades lol. Busted mechanic.
I feel like Leo's Pythra isn't as good as his other characters, but would've still been the best pick against Banjo. Way better matchup, especially when he doesn't have experience.
And Yoshidora choked against Sparg0, in my opinion. Felt like a full circle of choking between those two matches 😂😂 I was in shambles after the down b lol.
well yeah, he's denying space with slightly differing timings to ensure hurt can't encroach on that space safely, while also maintaining a threatening presence to set up his own aggression if he sees an opening in hurt's response to the bair wall.
