So beautiful & cozy! 💕 I am with you - I am not a huge fan of outdoor eating, but I tolerate it for a short bit. 🤣. You have convinced me that we need a power washer for our outdoor space. My family & I are working on front garden and back yard patio over Memorial Day weekend. Our girls are super excited - they love going to the nursery to pick out flowers. 😊

What a beautiful patio! So tastefully decorated! Love all your potted plants and the sunflower pillows too! I have a round table and chairs, some large pots of flowers and a two tiered black metal plant stand to “corral “ all my small plant pots.

Hi Amy another great video, thank you! We are also high up on a top of a hill, our street is flat but our back sloops down to a very steep hill. Two neighbors put large rocks back there & after many years weeds started to grow. It is to steep to cut the grass but my husband wear football spikes to cut ours. So don’t use large rocks if you don’t want to weed it weekly! We have a large front porch that has a roof on the front of our home. I don’t put pillows or anything that is nice out there because the rain still gets on the porch & will ruin it! Your deck is beautiful but you are a more trusting girl than I am. 😂 Enjoy the long weekend even though it will be cold & rainy! We are going to Amish country one day this weekend. Hi Amy, I just watched your video on Deck Clean and Decorate from last summer. You asked for ideas on something for a steep hillside. We tried mulching and junipers and everything we could think of on our hill, but nothing seem to work. We decided to invest in a two-tiered stone wall, what a difference that made. We now have flowering trees and lots of plants and flowers on each tier. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. Love you deck, Peggy. (WV girl)
i prefer seating spaces when im enjoying outdoor living.. we have swing and chairs on our patio and chairs on our porch.. Everything looks good.

Hi Sweet Amy - Wow, I love your deck. You did such a great job. You seem like you have a lot of energy. Here in South Texas basically you only sit outside in the winter and early spring. It’s already so hot and has rained so much that the mosquitoes are hatching out. Tell me why I live here? UGH. I do have a huge deck and when I had it built I got them to make built in benches all around the edge instead of railing. I have cushions that go on there for people to sit. I have a table, umbrella and chairs in one area, two chaise lounges with a table between in another area and a chiminea with chairs in another area. The girls potted so many beautiful plants/flowers when they came on Mother’s Day. My deck is off my den and breakfast room and the whole.back on my house is glass so that has to look good out there because it is like and extension on the house. I would like to come sit on your deck though. So pretty. We just returned from the funnest trip to Rachels college town. Melissa, my daughter that Iives in Dallas couldn’t stand to think of us having fun without her so she met us there. It’s about 3-4 hr drive for us but also about the same distance from Dallas. We laughed so much and had a blast. We were starved for fun! When I got home I unpacked and put clean sheets on the bed and before i shower I decided to watch this video. You do such a great job on your videos, sweet girl. I would like to see a day in the life or a video telling us more about you and your family. I have been praying for your family. It sounds like your poor nephew had a rough time and I am sure it is comforting for you to think of him being in the arms of our sweet savior. Have you ever heard that old hymn that says....I will arise and go to Jesus,, He will embrace me in His arms, In the arms of my dear savior, oh their are 10,000 charms? Please know I am faithful to pray for you and Debbie and your parents, Love in Christ. Sorry this is so long.
