When I was a teen, my dad let me paint one of my walls with chalkboard paint, and bought me a bunch of chalk to do different drawings whenever I wanted :)
My middle school's final art project for every student that was about to graduate to highschool was to paint a wall mural! Every year, the walls would be completely different, like an art gallery. Some stayed for years though, if they were good enough or intricate enough- my favourite was one that a couple students worked on together. They turned a whole hallway into a giant koi pond looking thing: fish on all the walls and ceiling like you were in an underwater tunnel. A cute thing that tended to happen was people would paint outdoor scenes on the walls of classrooms that had no windows to make it a bit more cozy for the kids that they left behind after going to highschool I got bullied as fuck in that school so I don't have many happy memories there. But trying to find all the new murals every september was nice
@@andynonymous6769 that’s a cool idea, surely sucks about the bullying and I can relate because I was bullied too in middle school. Honestly I now know that as long as there is suffering in the world there will always be bullying.😞
I watched earlier and I was eating dinner and I was like wait I never commented on roo and mistys video 🤪 so here I am hehhe I got a projector 😏 watch out house 😂
I had an old projector but once I was in front of it I could not see the picture on the wall and the lines were not defined so I couldn’t use it . Can you post a video when you draw on the wall with the projector? Thanks
Great video idea, but we are currently living in RV with no walls to be creative. If the projector is old you might have to move the projector closer to the wall. Also, the lines can also depend on the picture you're projecting. The images on color page, with real defined lines or the image has very defined lines works best. I can say based on my volunteer projects the projector did make a huge difference in quality of image being easy to trace.
For the kids Unicorns we just used water based art paint that we had at the house. However when I did it at the school we used the home interior paint from Home Depot and used the little sample containers but that’s was much bigger murals. Hope this helps 😀💓

Please do not take images straight from google or other sites without the creator's permission. This is theft of intellectual property. If you use images with free copyright use than have at it but just make sure before using someone's art.
Good point, as I explained in the video we usually us printable color pages off google. But in general this is intended for people creating art within their own home.
@@RooandMisty Regardless if it's for personal use inside your home you still legally need the artist's permission to use their work or get it from a site which the artist has posted the work to be used for free such as pixel. Otherwise it's stealing. Just like if you took a coffee mug from a store without paying for it.
@@indrahunter965 Understanding and the internet is a little harder to control verse swiping item from a coffee shop. People will just have to use their own discretion when creating their wall art.
@@RooandMisty it's actually the same legally. There's intellectual property right laws for this purpose . using art without permission is illegal and it is stealing from an artist. As someone who works in this feild I can tell you it is very much the same. It hurts our business when people take our designs instead of paying for them the same way it hurts a retail shop if you steal from them instead of paying. I completely understand you and other people don't realize that it's actually illegal to use these designs without permission which is why I commented 💜
@@indrahunter965 Sorry you are feeling triggered, but I am completely agreeing with you. I respect your point and as I said people will have to use their discretion.

Wow cool dad and very cool idea 😀
I love the idea of schools getting more art. It just makes it more fun to go back to school.
Thank you, sorry for late reply

Do you need to use a specific kind of paint to paint on your walls? I don't want to trash my house lol

Make your own projector, if you can't afford one.
would love to know how? :)
