So if the blank shape is heptagonal and the rings are on the flat side doesn`t it mean that the rings are positioned on the harder side of the blank . Opposite as compared to a round rod blank ?

When we made this video we’d just invented a fly rod that had 7 sides versus a conventional circular blank. Literally the definition of something new.
It was also 4 years ago. Blah blah blah.
