Vans these days are awesome. I used my dad's Transit Custom to help a friend move to a new place, and I didn't want to give it back. It was super comfy, had plenty of oomph, and drove like a car half its size.
Terrifying table lamps at the Irish homestead. That Transit was spectacular, sounded very quiet compared to my last UK van experience. Glad you got it all done without incident.
I can still remember packing up my house in England and coming over to Belfast - I had a friend do the driving though. 😊 Wishing you both a happy, happy time in Wales x
Still insanely jealous of your huge unit for storage! Where was Fred the Bear during all this moving? Our Teddy had the middle seat in the Transit we hired when we moved! We didn't go as far as you - just from one end of Norfolk to the other! Hope you and the current Mr Magill are happy in Anglesey, now you have all your possessions too!
LOL at 'the current Mr Magill' , like there might be a replacement at any given time. Good luck with your move, it can't have been easy leaving the home you grew up in but change is always good for the soul.
All the best for the future Jim! Spied the funnel of Ulysses at 4:20. Used to go that route when i lived in Belfast long ago. When i moved out I went via Stranraer "for a change" - daft idea really cuz i then had to drive all the way down from Scotland. Never occured to me until the ferry docked 😅
Jim’s D Day, landing on the beach Obv a loss to us in NI I was out in our youth groups new 16 seater Transit Fair turn of speed on it and I thought the steering was quite good for a van Best wishes in Dragon land
I know the unsettling feeling of having your entire life loaded up all at once. When I moved from Denver to Idaho, we loaded our entire apartment AND my first 500 into a 20ft enclosed car trailer. I couldn't stop thinking about how if we wrecked, EVERYTHING would be gone. Here's to a new life in Wales!
Used to work for brinks and they tried electric vans and it was a no from them aswell, when we moved house i had many trips to the dump as the wife is a bit of a hoarder. Most recently i got a skip and went through everything and the knackers helped themselves to any metal in it 🙄👍🇮🇪 The knackers would have had them wheels before you even had them out of the shed.... 😂
Wishing you every happiness in your new home. Hang on, was that an ST170 Focus in the barn??? And what is the story with the bikes outside, some of those looked particularly retro!
Sorry you're leaving us . Have a great time and a lot of happiness in your new home . Just watch the speed cameras, theyre everywhere, the north wales police are brutal compared to our psni. No come and go at all . Hugz
Good luck and best wishes for our new adventure.
Thank you so much!

I was blown away with how easy it was to drive at speeds I wouldn't do in the Panda
Great stuff, good luck at your new home!
Thank you!

My mum's lamps, I think she left them to me for badness

Thank you Colin!
Welcome to Wales. Hope to see you at a GCCG event at some point. We need more Pandas!!
Will do!

Fred stayed with the classic panda on Anglesey

Our worry was it would end up at the bottom of the Irish Sea lol

The EV thing works well for some but not everyone unfortunately
@alsodriven milk floats worked well donkeys years ago but the battery van is not very well thought out yet 🙄
I'd rather have a Transit over any number of popular contemporary cars!
It was so nice to drive!!!
Wishing you every happiness in your new home.

Yes the ST is one of Siôn's friends projects that he's helping with. The bikes are a little business which stores excess stock at our unit

Thankfully the Panda is very law abiding lol
Enough to buy 3 more Audi tts.👍
Haha... It's currently broken, more on that later
Most heterosexual? What about the Gun Times in Maine?
Oh every time I reply to this it gets deleted
Probably cause of the things we were playing with that day
