I had an opportunity to interact with Gen. Naravane once back in April this year.. Basically I was in the middle of my dissertation on the Rashtriya Rifles. Therefore I sent General naravne a message if he could talk to me on the subject matter with a very little hope of receiving a reply from the other end. But to my utter astonishment not only did he reply within few minutes but also agreed to speak with me. Within a week he himself called me and discussed on the topic..
