I remember when I was little there was an episode of Hannah Montana and in her room there was a doll on her nightstand that was so beautiful and I didn’t know who she was at the time but years later i found out she was Pullip Prunella and I’ve been coveting her ever since ^^
Yeah lol it was in the last season and her room is shown in a few episodes and you can see Prunella in the background, but its kind of a blink-and-youll-miss-it type of moment. I actually didn't notice her at first either until they were showing reruns ^^
Prunella is adorable. I had an older doll in another line arrive with very sticky shoes. I wanted to try to save them, because who ever has enough doll shoes. I removed them from the doll, took them outside and sprayed them with Mr. Super Clear. I gave them a couple of light coats on a sunny day with plenty of time to dry between sprays. So far, they have held up nicely.
C.J. Harden That is super helpful! My understanding is the stickiness is due to painting and packaging the shoes before the paint has cured. I had seen a recommendation to put the shoes in the freezer, but that solution was only temporary. I will have to try your method instead.
I used dry shampoo to fix the stickiness of those little cauldron-shaped basket thingies Monster High Ghouls Rule dolls came with, maybe that could work too ?
Hello! Very late to this party but I have literally just opened my new Pullip Prunella having had her for years! And yes, the shoes are totally sticky! I wiped them with a cloth and they are a bit better. Love your reviews!
Aww, I like her the way she is and her hair colour and style is amazing! My hair can get a bit dry and crispy too, but no scalping me! Her outfit is adorable! :)
I use a special method for repairing a dolls hair once it's dry and frizzy. I've never tried it on a Pullip doll wig but it works just perfectly for another dolls. Maybe you can try it :) (Because it seems to be a never ending problem of Pullip dolls :D) You just remove the wig, wash it in warm water and then wash it again in mixture of water and fabric softener. I recommend a video from RUclipsr called Maria Lazar, she explains it well :) ("How to fix doll hair") The method works super well, even with really damaged doll hair :)
I also have Prunella on my collection and I found her second hand infact she missed some accessories but I love her so much! ^-^ The hair of my doll are fizzy too but the shoes are not sticky at all. ^-^
She’s really cute but it’s a shame about the sticky shoes. I live in Singapore, high humidity area, and I have found a few of my doll items that were fine when I was living in the us east coast became sticky here. From what I read online it says it’s the plastic breaking down and deteriorating :( It happens to cellphone cases and even a drill we have too. I have had some success with wiping the effected item with rubbing alcohol but many times it becomes sticky again after awhile.

I love Prunella! I'm such a fan of her colorful faceup and hair with her contrasting not so colorful outfit. 💚
Unfortunately her wig is similar to my Dal Tina's. Very dry and brittle since their both older releases.
She is SO gorgeous! Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
