I love my Costco ring! I’ve had it 6 years now and it’s still as beautiful as it was day 1. And my jeweler that cleans it questioned me about it on my first visit and was surprised it came from the Costco!
Thank you so much for watching I’m glad you found it helpful! Also happy to hear you bought a beautiful piece for yourself and that the purchase was a success!
Great video, very informative. I was so interested I tried to find where you are located, I assumed it would be Toronto because I’m in Vancouver. Hah! Sadly was right, you’re in Ontario.
Oh darn! If you ever find yourself out in Ontario would love if you stopped by the appraisal lab. I also have a variety of virtual consult options available on my website www.stjewelleryappraisal.com you will find the consults in the lab boutique part of the website. I help consult clients about purchases virtually all the time. Thanks for supporting the channel!
I loved this Costco shopping trip! Excellent tips on the pricing and restock..I had no idea...I have purchased several pieces of jewelry from Costco and have never been disappointed...in particular a 14kt fancy gold chain that absolutely everyone comments on...even high-end jewelers! Thanks Sherrie! I will continue watching your RUclips channel!
Hi Sherrie! Thanks for posting on Costco. I have 2 pieces from them. 14k white gold pendant and earrings. Really nice quality and easy to wear. They used to carry large diamonds in our local store. Now, nothing over 1 ct. , I would definitely order on line from them.
I’m so happy to hear you have two pieces that you love! That’s interesting yes I also noticed the larger carat sizes and higher value reserved for purchase online. I’m sure they have to be careful for theft and perhaps have a value limit for insurance in store? Thank you for your comment and I wish you many more fabulous pieces to add to your growing collection.
@Lauren121704 thanks I have a local jewelry store here in my town, and what they offer vrs coscto is not even fair. Coscto more for your money and cheaper than her store for less quality. Surprisingly, coscto is a really good option.
Hint… There are more rings in the back, in a safe. These are all mass produced. Pick what you like and ask the salesperson to let you see those same rings in the back safe. Now you can look at 4 or 5 same version rings and you pick ring strikes you as the nicest. They usually don’t sell you the one from the display case, because that’s their show piece and it’s usually the nicest, when compared to what is in the back safe.
Hi Sherri....when my husband, and I shop at Costco, I wander to their jewelry area. The jewelry looks gorgeous. Diamonds, 14k white gold & yellow gold...they have an array of watches....well, I'd been eyeing a necklace which is the 14k paper clip. It is beautiful! I put it on and it shimmered & glistened. The sales lady was so sweet. She told me this particular necklace is Italian gold. I really wanted to make the purchase, and did. She told me there was no time-line on returns. I've been wearing this 14k gold necklace, and it's a dream. Please, can you tell me if you feel I made the correct choice? It cost $500. I've shopped QVC & jewelry row in Chicago, but the value seems to be outstanding. Tell me your thoughts! ❤
It sounds like you made a beautiful choice and most importantly you love the piece! I find their gold jewellery to be very well priced for the karat and gram weight. $500 seems very reasonable for a gold necklace considering the prices of many things on the rise today. Sounds like a great purchase!
Interesting to know that Costco is a decent place to buy jewelry---tho' 14K gold isn't exactly top-of-the-line. They seem very ethical, which is reassuring. But for an engagement ring/wedding band, I can't think of a less romantic place to go. Well, I guess you can do the romance thing later!
If you are seeking top of the line in craftsmanship and quality as well as a romantic luxury shopping experience it’s absolutely not the place to shop. There are many incredible jewellers and luxury houses I would recommend that do fine jewellery at an incredible level. This was simply an honest review based on my experience working with the product including pros and cons to help consumers who may be considering making a purchase at this store.
@@sarahsmiles870 Hi Sarah! Thank you for your comment it made me chuckle. Jewellery is an alternative spelling of the same word used in British English while jewelry is the preferred spelling in American English. I’m Canadian and this version is what is most common for us here. Personal preference really. Thank you for watching the video!

That’s great to hear! So happy you love it!
I like Costco!!👍
I've bought a tennis bracelet that I've had for about 10 years at Costco and I just purchased a tennis necklace. I love them both.

How can you be a gemologist and spell Jewelry wrong?
