ATEEZ has a concept where they are pirates but as it turns out there is a parallel dystopian world where ATEEZ where’s all black with hats called Halateez and Guerrilla is going into Halateez lore where there government has banned emotion, music, art, and dance because they see this as a disease. This MV is Halateez starting there rebellion as they basically hacked into the system where the government was giving there whole spiel on how emotions are a disease. There is a lot more to the lore but I just wanted to explain the MV. P.s. when ever you watch ATEEZ MV’s always play to the end because there is always a teaser at the end like letting you in on a little bit of the storyline or letting you listen to the beginning of there new song for the next comeback.
Ahhh this explanation is amazing but I do have a question, isn’t Halateez the evil version of Ateez? Thats what I have heard before and that they follow the man in the white mask? So why would Halateez start a revolution? Or is Halateez not bad?
@@Tanny2999 In the beginning we thought they were bad but they are not they are trying to stop there government from brainwashing the citizen because they are like robots and ATEEZ and Halateez has some sort of alliance to help Halateez world out you can see that in ATEEZ Answer MV. The white mask guys are bad they are android trying to capture ATEEZ and Halateez.
@@Tanny2999 I used to think Halateez is their evil side personality that could be from different universe or timeline due to the video of them having a meeting in the trailer of Answer MV. But then, someone ever explained that Halateez is their future version living in an evil dystopian world where everyone has been brainwashed. Capt Hongjoong ever explained in an interview that the hourglass plays the role as time machine where they got asked for help from Halateez in the future to raise a revolution of Guerilla. You can see in the end of the MV, they switch their costume from the white(Pirate version) to black (Halateez version). So, both parties taken part in the revolution. They debuted with the *"Pirates"* concept (that's why they called the leader (the black and white hair guy at the beginning) as "The Captain"). In ATEEZ Storyline, they are trying to save the world because the government banned arts, music and dance. It is a dystopian era where everyone just follows what the government tells them to do, disregarding their feelings. Now that you mentioned it, BIGBANG also touched the same theme in their Fantastic Baby MV, albeit different from the Guerrilla approach, but a revolution just the same. I think BIGBANG's is more of metaphor for K-pop in the real world setting. Whereas ATEEZ' is more tied to their lore and worldview. :)

I’m glad you guys enjoyed it. You have it right with several thoughts. The world is an alternate world called “StrictLand” where emotion is something they suppress by making things like art, music, or expression outlawed. Everyone must conform and dress alike. The schools teach uniformity. Ateez are a Guerilla group fighting against those in power trying to get people to see that expression is beautiful through their music. They’ve had this plot going on since debut and we only get bits and pieces each video, usually just getting more questions. They love to plant easter eggs in live performances, variety shows, interviews. Anything they say could be significant. It’s really the most interesting and involved concept in kpop: guerilla pirates saving humanity through music and self expression
Hi guys, I would like to recommend you a video called "bts vs radio" it shines a light on payola and I feel like not only Army but every genuine music fan of no matter what artist or genre out there really should be made aware of it! If you´d like to, it would be amazing if you could react to it even though this isn´t the kind of video you usually react to I think ... But the more people get to know about the extent of the situation the easier it becomes to maybe even change the industry with time to a more honest one ...where the music itself for it´s own value, the hard work, talents and passion of the artists get rewarded and not the wallets of a few manipulators at the top who obviously lack any necessary sincerity and respect for the art and us fans!
