Great descriptions! My signature is Cacheral Yes I Am. The bottle is a lipstick lol kinda cheesy/ kinda cute. (Some people say the Arianna Grande is a cheaper dupe but doesn’t last🤷🏻♀️. ) xx Also for a shimmer body oil I love the French brand Nuxe at Shoppers but it smells a little grandma-ish.
So i purchased Balenciaga Florabatanic from Fragrancenet and they gave me a sample of the Master X Master and when i put it on.....Lets just say im currently awaiting its arrival lol i absolutely fell in love. I need like 3 or 4 bottles of it so i can have it forever.

I had two Gucci fragrances many years ago that were definitely my signature scents! Of course they discontinued both of them.. I have yet to find anything that comes close to either one of them.. I’m constantly searching for a new scent!
The Gucci II has been discontinued so keep it. I also have kept fragrance for years, i have some that are maybe 6 years old and still good. I only have also just had 1 go off it was the Vera Wang princess one and it went off for some reason. I used to keep it in my closet so I was suprised it went off.

@MakeupByCheryl. I agree with you. I’m not a big fan of heavy floral perfumes but when I came across Gucci Bloom I was very surprised at how much I loved it. Also Coco Mademoiselle Intense is worth trying. I own that one over the original. I find the original is too heavy floral, but the Intense is slightly floral and a smooth vanilla.

Eau de parfum = Eau de Pahr-FUM. Not Pahr-FUME Also, I completely agree with you. I have hunted down vintage Dior fragrances from over 50 years ago, before reformulation. They smell incredible and full bodied. As long as you look after them, store them in a dark cool place, they will likely keep perfectly fine.
You don’t need to be French to pronounce a common term correctly. Just take 10 seconds to type the word into google and “pronunciation”. Click on the audio or video link. I am really not going after you in particular, but I notice people so often say they are “doing their best”, when it is actually so easy for them to go online, educate themselves and find out precisely how something is pronounced. Since you enjoy fragrances, it is good to familiarise yourself with basic terminology, especially if the word is going be used two dozen times or so in a video.
Have you tried the Dior Poison line? They are my my favorite, even the spicy original one. Hypnotic Poison is my #1. Recently started getting into the Mugler Alien line, too. Fusion is my fa favorite so far, but I really love the body lotion in the original scent.
Right now in South Africa it’s autumn transitioning into winter, and I’m loving The Only One by Dolce and Gabbana. Even though we’re in quarantine, I spray it and it places me in a cloud of warmth and love🤗

Have you ever tried Kenzo Flower L’elixir? It’s my absolute fave, sweet, but sexy and cozy, I don’t really get floral from it at all, I feel like you might like it!
MakeupByCheryl some people compare it to Prada Candy, and I don’t really agree with the comparison because I actually don’t like Prada Candy, I find it too powdery. Flower L’elixir has that same cozy sexy, caramel feel and there is a musk to it, but without that over bearing powder note that Candy has

Perfume samples are the best. I always get those from Sephora when they offer them because they are actual samples I use! Perfect for the purse and to try out different things. That's how I discovered what I like and what I don't!

So I love oil Perfumery’s take on the BR540 but the one thing I don’t love is roller balls I found out that they have a sister brand with sprays Oakcha which is also Canadian based just thought if u hadn’t heard of them yet you needed to!!!!

I honestly never bought expensive fragrances before bc I didn’t think it was worth it based on how expensive they were...but this past year I finally took the plunge and bought one and really loved it. Since then I’ve added a couple more so that now I have a small collection and my most favorite one is the givenchy l’interdit. I got samples of some jo Malone fragrances and my two favorite were the mimosa one that you love and the myrra and tonka one, which is super expensive. Thanks for sharing your collection! I'm so influenced by fragrance too. But with all you're going through, I'm getting overwhelmed because I process if I'd like it. I'm thankful with Sephora or some other places you can get samples to see if you'd really like it by trying it a few different days.

I have been trying to graduate from the sweet fruity juvenile scents of my past. I'm almost 40, and I probably should have let them go 20 years ago lol! I love love love the Ouai fragrances in Rue St Honore (smells like gardenia whipped cream, gorgeous creamy white flowers) and Melrose Place (smells like dewy rose petals, not heavy or dusty, bright sparkling fresh rise). I've also been enjoying Dolce&Gabbana L'Imperatrice for summer (smells like watermelon and strawberries on a warm summer morning, fresh and sunny but not sour or citrusy).
We have a scary similar interest in fragrance, literally twins. You would love Valentino Born in Roma. Or try the Juliette has a Gun Lady Vengeance so good!! Sol perfume not worth it, lasts as long as the body crush for 1/4 of the price of the perfume version.

I am in the same boat as you with the Black Opium I bought the large bottle of the intense and tossed the sample of the original. Same with the Flower Bomb I much prefer The Midnight or the Bloom over the original. My all time favorite perfume review that you have done is the last one where you sorted by seasons. Ever since I discovered it I haven’t bought from anywhere else. They have all your top 5 favs I believe! They come in smaller roller bottles, top quality, dead ringers, so so so long lasting. Every time I wear any scent from them they last all day long. One tiny swipe it all I need. I’m going to order some of your top favs I haven’t tried yet because a)I trust you and b) their prices make it possible to try every fragrance and I don’t regret if I don’t like it with such a small investment. AND they have Bacarat Rouge 540 and I wear it nearly daily!

the sol de janiero perfume is good, but honestly i'd save your money. The body spray does the same job and obviously smells the exact same.

That one is beautiful not sure they still make it
You can try Ylang in gold by M.Micallef ,its oriental froral. Have strong notes vanilla, ylang-ylang, coconut. Its soo good

I honestly never bought expensive fragrances before bc I didn’t think it was worth it based on how expensive they were...but this past year I finally took the plunge and bought one and really loved it. Since then I’ve added a couple more so that now I have a small collection and my most favorite one is the givenchy l’interdit. I got samples of some jo Malone fragrances and my two favorite were the mimosa one that you love and the myrra and tonka one, which is super expensive. Thanks for sharing your collection! I'm so influenced by fragrance too. But with all you're going through, I'm getting overwhelmed because I process if I'd like it. I'm thankful with Sephora or some other places you can get samples to see if you'd really like it by trying it a few different days.

I have been trying to graduate from the sweet fruity juvenile scents of my past. I'm almost 40, and I probably should have let them go 20 years ago lol!
I love love love the Ouai fragrances in Rue St Honore (smells like gardenia whipped cream, gorgeous creamy white flowers) and Melrose Place (smells like dewy rose petals, not heavy or dusty, bright sparkling fresh rise).
I've also been enjoying Dolce&Gabbana L'Imperatrice for summer (smells like watermelon and strawberries on a warm summer morning, fresh and sunny but not sour or citrusy).
Jo Malone Mimosa&Cardamon is my favourite , smells like childhood :) unfortunately doesn't last. Does anyone know a dupe?

We have a scary similar interest in fragrance, literally twins. You would love Valentino Born in Roma. Or try the Juliette has a Gun Lady Vengeance so good!! Sol perfume not worth it, lasts as long as the body crush for 1/4 of the price of the perfume version.

I am in the same boat as you with the Black Opium I bought the large bottle of the intense and tossed the sample of the original. Same with the Flower Bomb I much prefer The Midnight or the Bloom over the original. My all time favorite perfume review that you have done is the last one where you sorted by seasons. There is a flanker of Kenzo named L'elixir. A deliciously intoxicating, well-blended scent. Soft and sexy velvet-like .

Ever since I discovered it I haven’t bought from anywhere else. They have all your top 5 favs I believe! They come in smaller roller bottles, top quality, dead ringers, so so so long lasting. Every time I wear any scent from them they last all day long. One tiny swipe it all I need. I’m going to order some of your top favs I haven’t tried yet because a)I trust you and b) their prices make it possible to try every fragrance and I don’t regret if I don’t like it with such a small investment. AND they have Bacarat Rouge 540 and I wear it nearly daily!
