Airhard is a tactical milsim game where players act as combatants using air guns with limited muzzle velocity. This game is played in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. We wish people from other countries would play it too. It's really safe, if you use proper potection and limit muzzle velocity up to 180 meters per second for pellets and 160 meters per second for bbs.
so I was going to make a joke about how airhard is the russian version of airsoft, but they shoots metal bbs instead of plastic ones... now I know it is real
It seems the perfect winter sport. I wouldn't enjoy wearing all that armor with 35° in the summer. In fact, it would be cool to have an adaptable replica for playing airsoft in summer and airhard in winter.
I want to play! All my gas blowback guns are .177 caliber from Crosman. I own every single one from the Full Auto line for training and fun plinking. More realistic than any other airsoft gun for significantly cheaper
The only downside here in central Texas is how hot it gets... I think it would be more dangerous wearing two uniforms over each other b/c of the heat.. LOL. it gets up 110 degrees fahrenheit w/ 90% humidity sometimes... Id rather just be able to turn up the FPS on regular airsoft guns and use heavier BBs. Otherwise looks pretty sweet.
Yes, In summer it can be pretty hot in Russia as well. And it's one of the downsides of airhard. Even if your first layer isn't uniform but a HPPE suit. As far as I know a distance of 100 meters is availlable only for overtuned high quality bolt action airsoft rifles. While one of the cheapest pellet rifles - Crosman 1077 hits mansize target at 100 meters easily. High quality PCP rifles able to hit almost with no problem at 160 meters. And overtuned airsoft guns also become more potentially dangerous and also require extra protection.
Thanks for the idea. Sound much better suited to me than airsoft. I will be passsing the word around to the guys who have strong enough balls. See who the real men are
Hi! This question blows my mind too. At first what you wanna do is to find some soulmates I guess, who want to try something a bit realistic than airsoft. Yes, airguns even with limited muzzle velocity can hit at much longer distances (especially pellet guns) compared to airsoft. Some of them even have recoil. The downside of all this cool features is need for stronger protection. And yes, sometimes it can hit you pretty hard, especially in your fingers. But it's tolerable. The pros here is that it makes you afraid to be shot which is also a plus for realism. You can write me on denairhard@gmail.com if you need any support. I will tell everything about proper protection, speed limits, proper weapons available etc. I believe building an airhard team in a country where nobody tried that is not an easy task, but its possible. I also started a page on Facebook: facebook.com/Airhard-International-743873429698411

Well... Listening to airhard Russian players, there is not really much difference, if you are using proper gear
