I am listening to The Iron Widow because you've talked about it before and I have to say the narrator is great. I cleaned the kitchen and made a pie last night just to keep listening to it (I have to be doing something with my hands to be able to listen to audio books).

I adored Iron Widow! I didn't read a ton of YA novels, but that was definitely my favorite. However, Muted by Tami Charles is a 2021 YA release that I don't think got enough love. It's a contemporary written in verse and it was really well-done! I also enjoyed Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas and was suprised that I didn't hear that much about it, considering how popular The Hate U Give is.
Will my library hold for Iron Widow ever come in?? My favorite YA I read in 2021 was Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas. Loved seeing Maverick become a dad.
