- ISRAELI tanks have advanced to the road that divides the Gaza Strip, effectively encircling the entire eastern half of refugee-filled Rafah.
The offensive comes despite international opposition, and as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his country is ready to "fight with our fingernails".

Wrong! Hama's, said on Monday, just gone that it would put all its weapons down and surrender the hostages, in a total cease-fire! Israel, said no! It wants control of Gaza and needs land rights. Israel doesn't want a cease-fire.
if you didn't know anything about this.. hamas was set up my the Isreal government to help gaza. ... isreal has been know to work with them for ages, thats until 1970s with israel starts to enforce israel rule in gaza ad west bank... hamas was provided by isreal to form a local government... and hamas worked under isreal to establish peace and independency, but soon people who works in hamas relaised they werent there to help their own people but to control. the narrative changed and hamas turned against israel.... its far more complicated then oh if this guy just never stood up fot him self type deal

For more than two years of Russia-Ukraine conflict around 10000 civilians was killed, since Israel's offensive started six moths ago Israelis murdered with cold blood 34000 people of which 24000 was women and children!! Tell me exactly what makes their actions not deliberate genocide??
Let me try and help you on this. Genocide is 'the destruction of a nation or of an ethnic group'. Russia is trying to remove Ukraine from existence and Putin has stated they are not a nation. He invaded Ukraine and according to Oxfam over 30k civilians have been killed. On top of this over 20k children have been kidnapped and taken into Russia. Ukraine is a large country and the Ukrainian military is fighting a historically unusual conventional war. Now for the other. Hamas, the elected government of Gaza attacked and slaughtered Israeli civilians and kidnapped them. The IDF responded and attacked Gaza, one of the most densely packed areas in the world. Hamas fights unconventional warfare (they don't wear uniforms and fight among civilians). The IDF is a small armed forces build for conventional war. This make operations in Gaza difficult and the IDF must rely on bombers and artillery to avoid high casualties. It's not using it's arsenal to wipe out civilians, if it is it's doing a poor job. Statistically based on urban warfare it's meeting the standard ration of 3:1 combatants to civilian deaths if you believe both sides casualty figures. Hopefully that explains a bit more for you outside of Instagram.

Most of Israeli want the offensive to continue. Everybody in the war time cabinet wants the offensive to continue. Most also want Netanyahu gone, but they want Hamas gone much, much more. There will never be peace with Hamas in control of Gaza.
