At the higher levels of sufi music , there are no Hindus or Muslims, Indians or Pakistanis, male or a female, just the intoxication of love remains. That is what coke studio in Pakistan is producing. Shukria !

No one hates india or any other country, but we don't like anyone killing our people the kashmiris in IOK. All you music lovers who are in awe of pakistan excellence of music should also be the first to stand back and think to ask your govt, to allow kashmir resolution once and for all and let peace prevail in South Asia for ever.

This is music without borders. It defies geography of demarcation. Sufi music bridges the chasm between mortality and transcendence without making a fetish of the dogmatic paradigm of organised religion. Believer or non-believer, I also live outside my skin. Rocks, trees, the loam, the sky, the light, and moisture constitute the house I am---and the house I live in. There are no outsiders. They are my kith and kin.

Talent has no boundaries. Music is universal and the only way to bond with people from different culture and language. Sadi ta culture ve ik, punjabi ma boli v ik.... sabda rab v ik..... Even if we can't unite, we can at least respect each other. We should learn from Europeans how to re unite even after a bad history... Excellent soul touching music.

@Prakash Thube 8 months ago Salute from India. Our singers and musicians have become fools due to Bollywood filmy music .... ...............................................
This is what I told my BIL few minutes back that Indian young singers are taking to Bollywood and tours instead of "Riaz" which they should be doing at around 20yr. All these channels and singing competitions are killing music and good singers.
BTW what words and what singing!! I have become a fan of Coke studio Pakistan, cant figure out which one is my favorite, they just keep producing hit after hit songs.KEEP IT UP GUYS.....Love from India.

This is one of my favorite songs, extremely soothing and soulful. Noorie has done an excellent job. My father too, like many others here migrated from Sialkot in Pakistan.I am a big lover of Sufi music and especially appreciate the fact that the lyrics have no religious or geographic boundaries. It binds a lot of peace loving people. Indeed, there is so much talent in terms of poetry, music and voice in Pakistan. It binds people from across the "man made" boundaries.Keep doing the good work Coke Studio!!!

Let this music start a revolution. There are people on both sides who don't hate. We got to understand that people who spread hate do not belong to a community or religion. As long as we understand that, we can spread peace and love, and end hatred. Rabb sarean nu khushi deve, sukh deve, pyar deve. Asi saare ek ho k es nafrat nu khatam kariye, Dharam, lakiraan saanu alag nhi kar sakdiayan..asi ehna de muhtaj nhi haan..apni soch nu ehna ton agay le k jaiye!! pyar atay insaniyat ton vadda koi dharam nhi!!!rabb rakha!!

There are a lot of people on both sides who stand to profit from this hate. They instigate hate in schools, in the public, on TV and people on both sides continue raging against their brothers and sisters across the fence. We can accept our differences and celebrate our similarities.

When I heard this song for the first time, I had feelings of different things happening one by one from the very start to the very end. Then I heard it again and again just to confirm if the feelings are real, and indeed they were.
The very beginning of this song was clearly an attempt to hypnotize the listener, make them look deeper into themselves, until one gets in unison with their very soul (that's when you learn to be even more bowed down). And just when you thought it is over, there comes the realization of how unique your soul is, full of its own mysteries, that if you start seeking the key behind each of these mysteries, it will take your entire lifetime and you won't yet be finished. Because the mysteries of my soul are possibly infinite. And in the end, it helps you to slowly get back, calmly and beautifully. This song is possibly one of the best to present in front of you, the real journey of life.
Thank you Ali Noor, I love you! Thank you Ali Hamza, I love you! Thank you, the Sagar-Veena Maestro Noor Zehra, I love you! And last but not the least, thank you Coke Studio Pakistan, I love you!

One day you will be bestowed with His presence
Bow your head further down (in humility)
