I am suffering from fever since last 5 days and none of the medicine is working but this song has provided me some relief . Thanks for this beautiful song
That era of coke studios 😑. Such a golden period. I cannot count how much I listened to this sufi medley for these past many years. No Disney land no unnecessary tricks. Just pure music.
Ali's voice is eternal. it feels like traveling through high mountains and deep valleys with ultimate aim of reaching God (main Sawali jehda koi nahi sawal)
So divine!! I am from punjab(india), sometimes I think the biggest lost in the partition was to Punjab. We have the same culture, same language. I have met people for Punjab of Pakistan side and could not find any difference. One of my uncle has been to Pakistan couple of times and all my pathani kurta's were stitched from there only.

I wish, instrument that Ali's mother, Noor Zehra is playing would get worldwide recognition. For those of you who don't know its called, Sagar Veena an invention by Pakistani notorious lawyer and philosopher Raza Kazim, who is also Noor's father and grandfather of Ali Hamza and Noor Hamza of pop band Noori.
it has everything to do... because of his believes he has been in news often. Thats why he is a particularly known lawyer, because in Islam we dont follow such theories.... he also believes in secularism.
This is music without borders. It defies geography of demarcation. Sufi music bridges the chasm between mortality and transcendence without making a fetish of the dogmatic paradigm of organised religion. Believer or non-believer, I also live outside my skin. Rocks, trees, the loam, the sky, the light, and moisture constitute the house I am---and the house I live in. There are no outsiders. They are my kith and kin.
So holy and saintly .. i dont know how on the earth Pakistani are so damn gorgeous and talented too .. no one can ever beat uat music .. and yes coke studio u have given the message in very angleic ways .. hat tip .. music shows the richness of culture ..
Talent has no boundaries. Music is universal and the only way to bond with people from different culture and language. Sadi ta culture ve ik, punjabi ma boli v ik.... sabda rab v ik..... Even if we can't unite, we can at least respect each other. We should learn from Europeans how to re unite even after a bad history... Excellent soul touching music.
Well said Gurpreet we have more things in common then people dare to express so what if a border divides the roots are the same and of course music transgresses.
When people ask me about the separation of Indo-Pak back in 47, I always count music (among other things) as one of the biggest things that India lost, this song just proves my point. Thank you for the most beautiful song, I've listened to in some time. Love, from India.
what a bond Coke Studio Pakistan has created for people of Pakistan with rest of the world especially with Indians.... Bravo Coke Studio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best. EVER. I somehow believe that it takes purity of heart to be able to spread such divinity through one's music. The blessed mother here would be SO proud of her sons!
pakistan you nailed it.you are the best at music be it anything related to it for your music connects soul with god. thts wht music ever meant to be.nowhr else in the world this happens
Sufism is truly the Divine path of Love and Compassion. It is so sad how greed and intolerance of certain politicians slaughtered the Beautiful Province of Punjab and all the Love people had for each other. So much of our invaluable culture has been lost on both sides. Makes me truly sad.
1500000 x 8 = 120000000 minutes 12000000 / 60 = 200000 hours 200000 / 24 = 8333 days (approx) 8333 / 365 = 22.8 years the song just released 8 years ago. LOL
So much brings us together, so little has separated us! Its time to forget the little and usher love that we have kindled in our heart for you, for us. I wish to visit Pakistan at least once before I die. Your music has stirred many of us..keep loving and make us fall in love with you all the more!
Music has no religion, nor knows the boundary of land..it is for the free spirited..I am sure when modi and rss is tired after a days work for India, they quietly in dim light retort to music that soothes their soul! Modi and the ilk will come and go, but music will remain. lets be human!
When I heard this song for the first time, I had feelings of different things happening one by one from the very start to the very end. Then I heard it again and again just to confirm if the feelings are real, and indeed they were. The very beginning of this song was clearly an attempt to hypnotize the listener, make them look deeper into themselves, until one gets in unison with their very soul (that's when you learn to be even more bowed down). And just when you thought it is over, there comes the realization of how unique your soul is, full of its own mysteries, that if you start seeking the key behind each of these mysteries, it will take your entire lifetime and you won't yet be finished. Because the mysteries of my soul are possibly infinite. And in the end, it helps you to slowly get back, calmly and beautifully. This song is possibly one of the best to present in front of you, the real journey of life. Thank you Ali Noor, I love you! Thank you Ali Hamza, I love you! Thank you, the Sagar-Veena Maestro Noor Zehra, I love you! And last but not the least, thank you Coke Studio Pakistan, I love you!
Once I listen on FM radio after that search this with lyrics Jo na many rab di taqat but failed again and again one day accidentally found this complete song 💘
Loll thats actually true even for me. IDK y but for sm reason this song/track hammers down sm pacing into u. Pushes some humility/humbling feel in u. Also that brilliant trance music adds some fortification to solidify it. Its like a therapy this track 😂.
The translation is Bow your head even further down (in humility) Fakir, bow your even head further down (in humility) Bow your head further down (in humility) Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility) There is great pleasure in holding the head1 high in arrogance But, that pleasure will never be fulfilling, Fakir Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility) One day you will be bestowed with His presence Bow your head further down (in humility) Oh Lord, if only someone could understand the deliberations of my heart I am a seeker who seeks nothing I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another No one can unravel the secrets within me I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another No one can unravel the secrets within me I am a wanderer Come along, come with me Bow your head further down (in humility)
I am blessed to have heard this....I don't have words to express .... "Music is what feelings sound like". Eternal love from India - may god bless us all.
I get totally submerge when listening to this, too deep to express the pain and expressions by the proponent. Beautiful production. Well done Rohail bhai.
It is sheer honor for my ears to have the good fortune to listen this beautiful composition. I wish I had the words to express what this awesome piece of art has done to me. Listening to it on a loop. Much love to everyone who made this composition possible.
Hatred is something that's cultivated in us by our governments or some hate preachers. Its not some thing you are borned with. Hate is a negative energy - Kick It Love is a positive energy - Keep it Let the love flourish in our hearts through music. Love to the whole world from a very humble person :)
In my fav list since it was released and I dont think i will ever get over it. Such a soothing voice and the words are just awesome. kudos to the team, Respect from Punjab, India.

Being a lover of punjabi folk music, i was searching for some good music and i came across this. Undoubtedly this song is one of the best medicine for my soul. "Sangeet" in real sense. Keep bringing such soulful songs. Love for coke studio from India. 💖
Es realmente genial esta música desde que la escuche por primera vez me adentré completamente en ella y cada vez que la escucho siento una paz, capaz que no entienda lo que trasmita literalmente la música pero siento la escencia de ella. Slds desde Paraguay, corazón de América.
One of the best songs I've heard in a long time. The song has two very distinct feel which merge so seamlessly. The rudra veena in the beginning and the violin towards the end add to the flavour. Wow. Hats off Noori!
Guys dont forget to appreciate the awesome percussionist Louis J Pinto, AKA Gumby. How beautifully he had elevated the rhythm matching the gradually peaking vocals. Awesomeness.
What an amazing talent and achievement. Getting musical instruments and talents from all over the world to create an orchestra such as this to match the Pakistani folk and sufi singing is just revolutionary and great achievement. Great job Coke Studio Pakistan. Keep it up.
Hor vi neevan ho Bow your head even further down (in humility) (Repeat) Hor vi neevan ho fakira Fakir, bow your even head further down (in humility) Hor vi neevan ho Bow your head further down (in humility) (Repeat) Hor vi neevan ho fakira Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility) Uccha saroon gharoor mein There is great pleasure in holding the head high in arrogance (Repeat) Kaddi naa phall paiye, fakira But, that pleasure will never be fulfilling (Repeat) Hor vi neevan ho fakira Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility) Paiye gaa deedar sahib da One day you will be bestowed with His presence Hor vi neevan ho Bow your head further down (in humility) (Repeat) Ho rabba koi meray dil diyan kadraan pachanay Lord, if only someone could understand the deliberations of my heart Mein sawali jinna naeen koi sawal I am a seeker who seeks nothing Mein jogan ban dar dar phir diye I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another Koi na meriyan, ramzaan pachanay No one can unravel the secrets within me Mein jogan ban dar dar phiriyaan way I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another O koi na meriyan, ramzaan pachanay No one can unravel the secrets within me Mein jogan… (Repeat) I am a wanderer Chal meray naal (Repeat) Come along, come with me Hor vi neevan ho Bow your head further down (in humility) (Repeat)
Sean Johnson Correction: Saroo is a tree that grows in the upward direction and only has net leaves but no fruit. Thats how the poet has used it. Metaphorically. You go higher n higher in arrogance but wobt be able to bear fruit.

Deepak Sareen Is it Siberia or Serbia? Siberia is north of Asia, A Russian territory while Serbia is a European country.
One of the best. EVER. I somehow believe that it takes purity of heart to be able to spread such divinity through one's music. The blessed mother here would be SO proud of her sons!
Makes me wish i was on the other side of the border
+Kunal Shetty Jaan meree jum jum ayain. :)

Tears in my eyes after reading your comments, you said the truth in your comments
M.Tayyib Tahir This is love, music. India and Pakistan is love and life. I have tears in my eyes saabji.
Love like this must be shared on Headlines, Facebook, whatever.....not politicians dividing us.
neha Mann
Neha mann. We need more people like you in both side of the border. I am not sure why we have such a divide. I always wanted to visit agra: but cant
Sufism is truly the Divine path of Love and Compassion. It is so sad how greed and intolerance of certain politicians slaughtered the Beautiful Province of Punjab and all the Love people had for each other. So much of our invaluable culture has been lost on both sides. Makes me truly sad.
کیا کمال.
سلام ہے فلسفۂ حیات کی باریکیوں کو خوبصورت اور محصور کن آوازیں، انمول الفاظ اور اعلیٰ موسیقی دینے والوں کو.
" نیواں " " نوڙت "
Tiger Roars here....Ali Noor spectacular singing.....hats off to such a beautiful music
Start
No words no expression
End
Tears dripping
Ecstasy
Architect behind this is Rohail Hayatt
Watch his lecture in Harvard on music and this magical fusion he creates.
Rudra veena ... WoW !!! Why can't we fuse our divided cultures like this music ?.
We can fuse. Only once we realize why it divided in the first place. The day "Bhed Bhao" is finished, Sub-continent will be one.
Reza Khan very good you want to be one again. The people who made it like this had some very good reasons for division
Reza Khan No idea what Bhed Bhao is, but we r divided because we all have some weird sense of pride, and that never let us think like humans.
Cultures cant be fused my Brother. But hearts can be. as human beings. we could forget the hatred and embrace each other!
agreed
out of 1.7 million, 1.5 million times listened by me.
1500000 x 8 = 120000000 minutes
12000000 / 60 = 200000 hours
200000 / 24 = 8333 days (approx)
8333 / 365 = 22.8 years
the song just released 8 years ago. LOL
Ruhaani voice, truly masterpiece. so overwhelmed to see someone playing veena after so long, that too on Coke Studio 👍
That is his (singer's) mother.
This music is a different (better) level than normal bands... Keep it up Noori :)
This is not a song for your information;
It is a way of life.........,,,,,,,,,
goosebumps!! how the songs rises and reaches crescendo..touches you at so many levels. Divinity expressed in music!
Reshmi Chakraborty : I hope and wish better sense prevails in India!
wow wow awsome.. wot a performance.....
paa j . . . ? tusi great ho
i love punjabi songs.....only if it's a pakistani one. love from india
Sonu Jha we love you too 😇😇

Best comment on this timeline! Well said!
10 years of searching for this song finally I found it again amidst a pandemic.
You didn't know its from CS? How did you listened it first time?
Why RUclips didn't work last ten years
it was there forever man in you tube 😀
Once I listen on FM radio after that search this with lyrics Jo na many rab di taqat but failed again and again one day accidentally found this complete song 💘
No doubt.. This song has increased my maturity level... Main hor v neevan ho gya
Loll thats actually true even for me.
IDK y but for sm reason this song/track hammers down sm pacing into u. Pushes some humility/humbling feel in u. Also that brilliant trance music adds some fortification to solidify it.
Its like a therapy this track 😂.
Love & prayers. Let there be light and let there be music. From Delhi, India
The translation is
Bow your head even further down (in humility)
Fakir, bow your even head further down (in humility)
Bow your head further down (in humility)
Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility)
There is great pleasure in holding the head1 high in arrogance
But, that pleasure will never be fulfilling, Fakir
Fakir, bow your head further down (in humility)
One day you will be bestowed with His presence
Bow your head further down (in humility)
Oh Lord, if only someone could understand the deliberations of my heart
I am a seeker who seeks nothing
I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another
No one can unravel the secrets within me
I am a wanderer, roaming from one land to another
No one can unravel the secrets within me
I am a wanderer
Come along, come with me
Bow your head further down (in humility)
Noor Zahra Kazim only person in tha wolrd to know how to play that instrument ❤️
My 4 month old falls to sleep everyday listening to these songs...Rohail Hyatt, Noori & all others - you guys rock.
When mother cooks for you you you cherish the food and when your mother plays her instrument while you sing you are elated
One of the best from Coke Studio. Wonderful singing and lyrics.
Hatred is something that's cultivated in us by our governments or some hate preachers. Its not some thing you are borned with.
Hate is a negative energy - Kick It
Love is a positive energy - Keep it
Let the love flourish in our hearts through music. Love to the whole world from a very humble person :)
It’s NOT a song it’s a lessons to our children or for the grown ups in a very poetic manners.

No border of music & birds , I am Indian But I love coke studio ppakistan songs . allah taraki ata kare
The sad part is that i can only like it 1 time. Only 7K likes for this masterpiece is not justice
People can't justice
Bcs it was uploaded on youtube when RUclips was banned in Pakistan
Absolutely!
Pakistan's music is a dream for Indians, cry baby.. Pakistan Zindabad
What an amazing talent and achievement. Getting musical instruments and talents from all over the world to create an orchestra such as this to match the Pakistani folk and sufi singing is just revolutionary and great achievement. Great job Coke Studio Pakistan. Keep it up.
Really soul purifier... Love from India
love from Pakistan

Sean Johnson Correction: Saroo is a tree that grows in the upward direction and only has net leaves but no fruit. Thats how the poet has used it. Metaphorically. You go higher n higher in arrogance but wobt be able to bear fruit.
this is what i call music
