There are entire books dedicated to Microsoft’s anti-competitive practices going back decades, and yes, they have actually already been broken up once as a monopoly… yet here we are.
He has just diversified from making a fortune from computer viruses to people viruses. He is the single biggest donater to the WHO. He who pays the piper calls the tune, and his tune is going to make him a ton of money. He once said that jabs give him a 20 to 1 investment pay out. And he says there will be another pandemic, presumably as soon as his friend Fauci can get one to escape from a lab.
Sterling is legal tender, and, therefore, they have to accept it in cash … Refuse to pay if they choose not to accept it. The law is on your side. Cash is king ! Keep it going ! Do not comply. Choice is being eroded. Control creeping in day by day 😡
the problem is as long as a business is up front about cashless like having signs on the door you don't have a leg to stand on. just because cash is legal tender companies do not have to accept it in the right circumstances.
Refuse to support businesses that do not give us a choice! They will either cooperate or buckle from a lack of sales... Barter with others for goods if necessary!!
This proves that CBDC s are not a good idea how many people had to revert to paying cash as their cards failed and how manywere unable to buy things as they did not have any money and were unable to get any from cash machines.
I always have cash on hand. I have almost a months income saved up as an emergency fund. Everyone should have that even if it takes a year to save up, you've got to start. My goal is three months.
Not unless there is a law to require it. There were places here in the state of Florida that stopped accepting cash and our governor outlawed the practice.
This affected the electronic locks on the Metal Gates at my Son's School, rendering them unable to open. Fortunately a single older style wooden gate (non electronic) was able to be opened!
On the cash side of things, Im tech savvy but like to put my phone away for a weekend and find myself being asked to download an app to pay for this and that, how has that become the norm. The government needs to state that cash must remain an option at all times. The parking payments are the worst for that. Requiring an app to pay means you are paying the same if not more money and with your data. These apps are often designed to grab data and run in the background (even when closed), having a phone shouldnt be a requirement.
Businesses should not be allowed to refuse cash...they should have to accept both....i recently went to a show and at the interval all you could get was a glass of water because their system was down and they had no way of taking cash....so the company concerned lost a nights trading trading....where does that make sense 😢
Its the hardware, Doctors PCs have factory installed Windows, this should be changed, it enables the monopoly. The operating system should be a choice ...otherwise there's no money for other software to be compatible with Linux...printers etc.
Most of the Internet runs on Linux servers. The biggest threat to computer networks is the user(s), especially those who ignore the IT security policy. I replaced Windows on my PC with Manjaro Linux years ago. I have no regrets making that change.
Don’t give me elderly tech savvy rubbish when we just don’t want to use something we don’t trust. That’s just a huge insult when we can see what’s going to happen and if you think it’s fine to go cashless then don’t whinge when the internet goes down and look at all the people running around like headless chickens. Who’s the silly ones now.
If only people woke up and realised they are ruining theirs and the next generations chances of getting a job by going along with all the electronic crap about nowadays that does everything for you. .
LOL. This takes me back to the 1980's when I was a Telco technician and I regularly serviced one of the big hospitals in the city I lived in. In the basement where the new 'computer controlled' PABX (telephone auto switching system) was located, were a couple of posted signs on the wall. 1 - Caution : This equipment has a critical detection system. The more critical the need for its smooth operation, the more likely failure will occur. 2 - Caution : Due to the computing power of this equipment, errors that occur will be transmitted at lighting speed.

Technology, for me, is a menace. To download apps to pay parking tickets is ridiculous.!! Everything to do with technology is a pain. It takes so long to get started when , as the gent said, just write out a receipt!!!. To open a bank account took me nearly an hour a few months ago. When before when we had bank books! ( Haha! You can laugh!!) It took about 10; minutes for the teller to get a book , write your name and bank account number, then the money you had in your account . Done!! Nowadays it's a lot of tapping on the computer, then printing something out then going to have it authorised, then more typing, eventually, after a long wait you get your bank card and have to put your thumb on a little machine twice then , hallelujah, after signing all these forms, you can leave the bank. It's a bloody pain all round!!
Kinda off topic but Xbox part of Microsoft were allowed to buy activision and as soon as they got their hands on it tons of people lost their jobs. The cost of the buyout was billions. So that’s another monopoly they have now in the games industry.
It was Crowdstrike's software bug, they didn't just find it - they created it and rolled it out to millions of subscriber machines (e.g. If you weren't paying for their End Point Protection software, you weren't affected), they caused this and then had to come clean. This is what happens when non-technical ppl write the script...
Britain should develop it's own microchips and develop it's own operating systems and software. But programmers are lazy folk who reuse existing software that is often badly written with more security flaws and an MI5 booze party on a Friday night. Hahaha. Look, the government are basically a load of lazy, free loading, non experts who want a quick fix or patch and a headline to match. Hahaha. CrowdStrike stock price was dropping this whole week as if some folk knew what was going to happen. Look, if the daily range of the share price is great just before an event than in the last few months, it signals something dodgy going on. Hahaha.
The back up system would only work if it were completely separated from the use of CrowdStrike software otherwise it wouldn't boot up with introduction of nad kernel file.
At last someone in authority has the courage to state the obvious. And it's not just us oldies that struggle. There are millions of people with special needs who don't all have carers who are disadvantaged and exploited.
Supermarkets, could not take cash? It shows on the till, you collect the amount. At the end of the day, you total up the amount on the receipts against the amount in the till. That was hard, not!
They don't trust employees not to steal. Also huge costs to supermarkets using armed trucks to transfer all that cash to banks. They even charge for coin rolls for change.
The problem is that all computers from America to Zimbabwe need to be able to talk to each other. All operating systems need to be connected so they are all susceptible to viruses that are implemented behind their firewalls.
